I purchased the lowepro tasca 20 on a whim when I was unhappy that the clip on ANOTHER cell phone case broke! Since then, I'm estatic with this little thing. It's a perfect tiny carryall. Secure on my belt and EASY to get something in and out of! Perfect for a cellphone, a camera or simply a bit of cash. I was initially concerned that the magnetic closure would not be secure -but nothing has fallen out so far!

While this may be nice for a small camera, it doesn't really work with the Flip video cameras. It doesn't close properly because the camera is just a little longer than the case. Other than that, I like the D clip for attaching to to a loop or bag.

In concept this is a great design. Magnetic closure, belt clip, padded case. In reality the Flip Ultra HD doesn't fit. The unit is just too big for the magnetic clasp to stay closed. Consequently you are left with an open-top bag. Not real secure.

This case is good. I hadn't realized the it closes at the top with a magnet, which is a handy feature. It allows you to easily take the camera out when you need it.

I hadn't realized that it wasn't designed for the Flip Video MinoHD when I bought it, though. It's a bit loose, but that can work to your advantage.

I bought it as part of a promotion (buy the MinoHD and get 2 free accessories), and I would have liked another case better, but I'm happy with this one.

We got this case free with the Flip HD camcorder as a promotion. The Flip barely fits inside, and the closure is a magnet, which is weak and pops open easily. It would be preferable to have a case that closes securely for your Flip, maybe with velcro or a snap. The carabiner does nothing for us. I don't think this is worth $15 due to the magnet. It's worth about $2 to me.

While this carrying case might have been designed specifically for the Powershot S1 in mind, it is a VERY poor choice for the following reasons

It is difficult to open and close. There is a zippered left and right side which goes down about 2-3 inches. The top flap closes with velcro. It therefore takes three movements to open the bag. An awkward and timeconsuming process.

There is no space to keep a spare set of batteries, the minimum accessories a person would want to keep along with their camera. There is an inside pocket for memory cards. But I find that one card is all that fits easily. Any more, and the camera case will bulge.

This is designed for the fashion concious and trendy crowd who want the Canon logo on their camera case. It is not a practical carrying case. The least I would have expected is for Canon to design a concelable strap for this case. Instead, there is a belt loop which is pretty much useless as this camera is a little too bulky for you to put around your belt loop. And it seems certain to distort the shape of your belt. Do think twice about this purchase.

I am still looking for another case for my Powershot S1. I see a Targus Digital Camera Max case for under five bucks on Amazon and think I will get that instead. If you have alternate suggestions, do add them, for the benefit of other folks, right here.

I bought this case yesterday for my Canon G6. G6 takes good pictures. However, perhaps because of the poor design of the power switch on the camera, together with the design and the size of this case (a little too small for G6), the power switch was easily activated accidently when I used this case. In about 50% of my dozens of testing puting the camera in and taking it our from the case, the power switch was activated. Even if you put the camera in without accidently turning the power on, there is still a high chance that the camera be turned on accidently while you are carrying it because the case is thin. It's not easy for me to just return it because I bought it via mail order. If I were to do it over again, I'll forget about the pretty look of this case and go for a different one that is practically more user friendly. It's not for G6.

After a dozen tries, and trying to be careful that I wasn't making any stupid mistakes, it's official: The Canon PowerShot G6 does not fit in this case. By the time you've zipped one side zipper, and started to try to zip the other, pressure of the sides of the case against the on/off switch on the top of the camera will have switched it on, the telephoto lens will be trying to extend, with complaining beeps, and you are motivated to extricate the camera quickly enough to save damage to the telephoto motor. And Canon has their name on this?

Canon didn't try very hard to design a pracitcal camera case for such an expensive product in reference to the PSC 70. The case is much too small to offer any type of cushioning or protection, if any type of accident were to happen, and there isn't enough storage space inside. There is room to store either a compact flash card or four batteries, whichever the owner chooses. They recommend this case for the S1 IS, but the camera barely fits inside the case! They should have added a third more space with some extra cushioning and more storage space for batteries. Canon usually makes good products, and I absolutely love my new digital camera, but they need more work in their accessory design department. Truthfully, this case looks flashy, but it doesn't offer real practicality for serious digital camera users. I bought the case because the description on their website said it was designed specifically for my camera, and the Canon logo appears on the front, which is attractive. I didn't expect to be disappointed so much.

I'm afraid I must disagree with the negative reviews given for the PSC-70 soft case for the Canon G6. The case is perfect for protecting the camera without unecessary bulk. If you need to carry all your accessories with your camera, get a gadget bag designed for that. The Canon case was designed to carry the G6 only. With a freshly charged battery and a 1 GB memory card, you're good for a whole day's worth of shooting. You shouldn't need anything more in most shooting sessions.

The fit of the G6 is just right. The two side zippers and the top Velcro flap allow the case to open up clam shell style. You can place the camera into the fully opened case and then close the case around the body. This prevents the on switch from being brushed and turning the camera on. Other small cases I have tried brush the on switch when sliding the camera into the case. The PSC-70 avoids this design flaw.

I find the case very convenient to wear on the belt, although it adds to the dork/nerd look of the user (fits my image perfectly). It is much more portable than carrying a large gadget bag on a shoulder strap.

I was taking a 10 day trip to france and needed a convenient way to take my Camera (Canon D60 with 18-200 EFS lens), an extra lens (8-16mm Sigma) plus stuff needed for day trips. Also wanted to minimize number of bags for flight and needed a way to take my laptop. The pack was perfect. For the flight all of the above along with my Toshiba 13" laptop, ipod, cellphone, earphones, charger, etc, plus a sweatshirt fit and the bag was my under the seat carry-on: perfect. I will add at this point that it is extremely comfortable to wear even when weighed down, but for the airport the outer sleeve that fits over the handle of a wheeled peice of carry on luggage makes it a dream to travel with. Once in France, my usual contents would be the camera in the side compartment, extra lens in the pack plus a sweatshirt and stuff I needed for the day. It was incredibly comfortable to wear and walk with and I did plenty of walking around Normandy and Paris, and the side pocket is really quick and easy access for the camera. Just drop it off your right shoulder, the bag swings to your side, the zipper opens quickly, and the camera is right there to take out. Great travel companion. My only caution is that this is not for a photo safari if you're super serious and want to take multiple lenses plus flashes, and lots of other gear it's for a day pack with one serious camera/lens combo and maybe one extra lens plus the other stuff you'll need for the day. It's the perfect size for its intended purpose.

I needed a light, compact backpack that would hold my dslr and 3 lenses, plus my netbook or laptop. I also wanted quick access to my camera without having to take the backpack off. My main uses for this bag are as a carry-on/under-seat pack during travel, and for day trips/light hiking.

After looking at just about every backpack that exists (or at least what's available online), I narrowed it down to this and the Lowepro Fastpack 250. I ordered both and ended up keeping the Compuday Photo 250. The Fastpack 250 was great, but quite a bit bulkier than this one. It also looks more like a camera bag, where as this one does not. If you were to remove the small Lowepro logo patch it would be even stealthier.

This pack is well made, well designed and carried just the right amount for my needs (camera, lenses, netbook, plus a bit of room for other misc items. If I bring my netbook, I can also fit my kindle, stacked above the netbook in the laptop compartment. I can even fit my Slik Pro V mini tripod in it, along with everything else (this tripod is only 14" folded). There are plenty of pockets and compartments to organize my stuff, and it's well-padded to protect the contents. The side camera compartment is great it allows quick camera access (almost as convenient as with a shoulder bag), but has the increased carrying comfort of a backpack (however to change lenses, you'd need to take the bag off, not so with a shoulder bag). I can carry this thing for hours without any discomfort, but with a shoulder bag, I'd have a sore neck after an hour or so. The shoulder straps are comfortable and easily adjustable, however there is no chest/waist strap (not really needed, considering the relatively light load one would be carrying in this pack). The only things I would suggest are adding a couple of loops on the sides and top to attach bungies and clip-on accessories, and using a waterproof (non woven) material for the bottom.

The price is also quite reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended.

This bag is amazing!

I researched all different kinds of bags that could carry my DSLR + Lenses + Misc. Items + 15" Macbook Pro, and this is the one.

All the other bags offer great attributes, but this one definitely takes the cake; it has a great easy access camera slot for my Canon 550D + Battery Grip + Vivitar 28mm 2.8, and definitely has room for a lot more.

This also holds my 15" Macbook Pro, with all of my cords and accessories (headphones, external hdd). The ONLY qualm I've had thus far is that I can't fit my laptop and my sleeve very comfortably into the laptop compartment-but it helps that the bag is extremely padded.

The build quality of the bag is also extremely nice, with a solid feel and overall great look. The bag is extremely inconspicuous, so there really is no need to worry about people KNOWING you have a camera and a laptop on you.

What's also nice about this bag is that if you don't need to carry your camera, you can essentially get rid of the camera slot, allowing for books and clothing to take its place. Even with the camera slot, there's tons of room for other items.

The front pockets are seriously spacious, and I can hold all of my cords, miscellaneous documents, extra lenses, clothing, and books inside of it. The slots for a cellphone and pens holds my clunky Android G1, along with a bunch of pens and thumb drives.

The water bottle mesh knit on the side is super convenient, holding my Klean Kanteen and even my cell phone.

I would have to say the bag is still really comfortable with my camera, laptop, and life-equipment in it.

Honestly, this bag is completely under priced, for what it offers. If you're looking for a not clunky and ugly bag that has tons of room for everyday things, this is your bag.

I was looking for a pack that would hold more than just my camera but not much more... I was frustrated because most packs that I found were all about the camera plenty of room for lenses and accessories but not those other travel essentials. Or, if the pack could carry those essentials it was way too large.

This one is right in the sweet spot a super convenient dedicated side-access pouch for your SLR+lens; and then a roomy interior for those things you also want to carry in a pack like a wind breaker or rain jacket, some snacks, etc. The slim pouch inside will hold an iPad no problem; probably not a full sized laptop. There is a water bottle pocket on the side, and a couple of extra places for cell phones and other small/slim stuff.

I usually pack this with a DSLR+ attached lens in the side pocket, then an extra lens in the main compartment, then some clothing and snacks to accommodate the kids that usually travel with me. I wear it as a backpack, sometimes single strapped, and sometimes I use the convenient handle and one-hand it.

I am really pleased to have found a well-made pack that is just the right size for the few things I want to carry in addition to my camera.

This is a nice bag when you wish to carry your DSLR around together a laptop/tabled and some other non-photographic items. But despite what Lowepro says, it won't hold a laptop larger than 15". For example, nor my Dell Latitude E6520 (15.6") nor an older Precision M4400 (15.4") will fit the notebook compartment, which makes it not useful when I need to travel with a larger notebook.

The pocket inside the front compartment are a bit small too, and probably will be a tight fit for most actual smartphones. Had Lowepro designed it a inch larger and an inch taller it would have been almost perfect.

Yet the side aperture is very handy to get the camera and shoot keeping the backpack on a shoulder, and there is enough room for what you may need to carry with you an a short trip, especially when flying and having to carry just one cabin luggage both camera and notebook are protected enough and easily accessible.

The case fits the Nex 6 camera well. It is some sort of vinyl with a little padding. The workmanship is very good for the price. I did not give it five stars because the fit is not perfect: the back bulges a little away from the camera, especially with the eye cup installed on the viewfinder, and the sides of the camera are not completely covered. However, the camera is still well protected from bumps. It is definitely NOT water tight and additional protection would be needed in rain. Given the reasonable price, I consider this a very good value and would purchase it again.

I don't use the shoulder strap (not because it doesn`t work, it does), it's just that I like to hang it from my belt, I use a long and thin camera strap (long enough to have it across my neck and shoulder at all times, attached to the camera in its case) so I keep the camera in its case and the long strap around my neck and shoulder, leave the case unzipped, when I need to shoot, just grab the strap and pull the camera out of the case, and then, back to the case. works great for me, just love it. Good material, well cushioned and I like the way the case opens with the flap towards you (makes it easier to pull out the camera). Will buy a second one in black, have one in navy blue. It can fit my Nikon D5100 or, D3100 with an 18-55 mm zoom. Also use it for my Canon SX40. Waterproof. Just great !!!

I bought this bag for my wife who is a camera enthusiast. I wanted a bag that would hold everything she has and not look like an ugly box or camera bag. This bag holds her Nikon D50 with 2 lenses, flash, sd cards, filters and such but there is not a ton of extra room. It all fits only because it is expandable. If you want any bigger you will have to get a backpack which my wife wouldn't want. Over the design and quality are great, the bag is adjustable in so many ways but if you want quick easy access to lots of accessories its just OK.

I was told this brand is one of the best and it seems like it will last a very long time. This bag is perfect for those times that you don't want to take everything with you. This case is interesting because it happens to fit both an Ipod and a Blackberry phone together. The velcro flap fastener wears out fairly quickly and it does not appear to be washable as it falls apart after a couple of washings, bit it provides fast access to both devices on the hip with a very sturdy velcro belt loop attachment. If you have too many phones, this may be a good product for you. Shipping was fast.

I ordered this after a lot of hemming and hawing about it. I was assigned to shoot a Change of Command ceremony for the USCG and knew that I'd need to bring more than just one camera. So I bit the bullet and ordered it. The size was ok, I'm a big guy it fit me, but I felt that it could be tight over a jacket. So I modified it with new buckles and added about 4 inches to it. It does hold a LOT of gear. Here's what I managed to stuff into mine. 4 lenses, a Nikon SB-600 flash, a Sunpak Auto 522 flash, 16 batteries, a light meter, and I put my Nikon D-5100 (For video) body into one pocket, and a pad and pen that were easy to get to. It did it's job and kept all of my gear within reach so I was able to change lenses fast. Just don't wear it in an airport...

The seller was prompt. Originally I was going to order a photo vest, but decided that the chestvest held most of my equipment, would go directly into a carry bag without unloading it, and the pockets offered more protection for the camera and lenses than just the lens and camera cases. I absolutely love the it. It can be worn in hot or cold weather, with or without a jacket, and it isn't confining like a vest.
