I was very disappointed that Tamrac Evolution Messenger bags have several design flaws that make them unsuitable for carrying cameras. The deal breaker for me is the top flap does not cover the entire width of the bag. In fact, both sides make a sort of funnel that welcomes moisture, dust and debris into the bag. The flap secures with both noisy Velcro and a clip. I'd prefer just the clip. The laptop/iPad pocket walls should be more rigid. The lift out camera caddy seems like a design compromise because it makes the bag too deep, so it doesn't hug your body very well. Finally, the bag is top heavy with a camera loaded as per instructions. It flops on its side when you sit it down. Some rigidity to the bottom would be welcome.
I returned the bag for a refund.It has pocket for everything and it is so lightweight. Good for traveling and very convenient you can't even tell it's a camera bag! Quite happy with it.
