As noted by other reviewers, the case looks very nice, seems very durable and has all the attributes of a classic SLR case. It has however one major flaw. When you try to use the LCD screen with the bottom of the case attached to the camera, you may be able to make it come out and rotate it. But you won't be able to return it to its original position without removing the bottom of the case or manually stretching the bottom edge to make room for the LCD. Unless you plan to use the LCD screen facing you at all times, i.e without using its tilting capability and without the protection of the LCD back, you will have to completely remove the case in order to use the camera. And since the strap is attached to the camera, not the case, you will literally be left holding the bag (or the case). This small design flaw does not detract from its fine style but does detract from its usefulness.

The case was shipped promptly and fits the camera perfectly. Great craftsmanship and excellent value. Would recommend this product to anyone who wants to protect their camera while preserving space.

I love my new case. It has the look and feel of my old cases I had for my old 35 mm cameras. With the top of the case removed, the bottom piece stays firmly on and helps with the grip of my camera. I leave it on all the time, great feel. I would highly recomend this case for protection, style and feel.

This products reminds me of days gone by with the camera cases. A very protective camera case that just wraps around the camera without all the bulk of the larger type cases. I intend to use for those day trips when all I need is the camera. The materials seem as tho they will last a long time and it looks great as well. It's not something I need on camera all the time but will be of great use when needed. Am glad of this purchase.

Got this for the Canon SX40 and it fits perfectly allowing for full use while providing complete protection to the camera. Sort of has that nostalgic look of a vintage SLR.
