Magnet just strong enough to hold camera, but to too strong to be a hindrance when trying to remove it quickly for that special shot. Gorgeous red leather. I only wish there were a better way to thread the wrist strap through the top hole. Still very happy!I have owned this camera case for years now and still love it. Real leather with a strong magnet but still easy to get the camera in and out.Best produt and purchase ever.
