I have the same problem that all complaints on this review states. I also ordered this and was dupped that I only got the top cover. After reading the reviews thoroughly I found matching cases and model numbers all available at amazon.

This molde is for the NEX 5 (THIS ONE USES THE BODIES CAMERASTRAP SINCE THE BASE JUST OVERLAPS IT.

This is for the NEX 5N This is what I am going to go with. About $80 for the seT AND THIS ONE LOOKS MORE CLEANER.

I hope this helps others trying to get this figured out. Since this case populates the search for NEX 5n cases on amazon and does not populate all the other cases. I would also recommend going to sony's camera site and go into accessories page to find the correct model numbers for your camera then search for it on amazon that is what I did. Mystery of the mismatch cases solved.

I wasn't sure I really needed this item, but am very happy with it. It does slow you down changing batteries, and it does make it a little more difficult to reach the bottom button on the rear control panel, but it really feels good in your hand, and makes the camera seem less likely to get damaged.

Of course the rear controls are easy to activate accidentally, so the case actually reduces that somewhat.

I also like the fact that the strap goes out from the rear, so the camera hangs with lens down, rather than facing out (of course with a zoom lens, that is how the camera will hang, but the body strap connections have the strap coming off the top).

It is a little expensive for such a small item, but I like the feel and the increased protection.

I bought this for my silver Sony NEX-5N camera. The camera is well cushioned and the swivel LCD screen is not impaired in any way. The camera looks a bit bulky and the fit on the sides not as snug as I wanted it to be. Of course you have to remove it any time you want to download the pics and I am a bit concerned about the wear of the screw. Even though the product is sold as "Custom Leather Body Case", it is actually made of good old vinyl acetate.

Gives the 5n a much needed improved grip. Love it. High quality for the price. I may even buy another to have as backup.

Fits nicely, looks expensive. Simple screw into the bottom of the nex 5n, and increases your grip on your camera. like one reviewer said though, it doesn't have cut outs for the camera strap buckles, rather the case has strap buckles of their own. Not a huge deal, but would have definately looked nicer with the cutout.

I would recommend this product.
