I am really happy with this case. It hold my camera an extra battery and a cleaning rag. It is a somewhat hard outer shell and soft outside. Pretty lightweight and fits well in my purse. Very happy with this purchase.

i didnt recieve a memory card case likre it depicts in the photo an the screen protecter had to be cut to fit on camera an the wiper rag is very small, but case is fine an alot cheaper than the ones sony sells

I like the case but wished it was smaller. The Canon SD1300 moves around in it. I need to figure out how to add some padding to the side of the case so the camera stays in place.

Otherwise the case is very protective as far as being durable. I'd rate it 5 stars if it had fit my camera as the item description stated.

Relatively expensive, excellent build quality, fit and finish provides considerable protection with minimal bulk.

NOTE: This case does not have a tripod mount, it has two "wing: which snap over the strap lugs. I consider this a "feature" not a "bug" as the camera sits solidly base-down and without scratching the surface on which it is resting, someone who needs to mount to a tripod without modifying the case may feel differently.

Bottom line:

I *really* wish RI made a similar case for the GF1!

A nice little half case, good workmanship and materials and a quality execution. Sometimes it makes it a bit clumsy to find the playback button but overall extremely satisfied.

What I like most is that this case doesn't use the tripod hole to attach the case to the camera. Most cases have a pretty bulky screw that goes into the tripod hole whereas this one uses two button based wings that goes around the strap ring on the camera. The case fits perfectly and the the case is between 0.1 to 0.2 inch thick. One thing to know before purchasing is that you cannot use the tripod with this case on, because the hole is covered by the case.

Very well made, it will protect your 70-200mm lens. It also holds 1.4 TC attached to the lens. this case is way much better than the tamrac version. I'm using it as belt bag and it's really handy, easy to access my heavy lens whenever I wanted to switch lens.

I purchased what for me was a very expensive lens, Nikon 105mm micro. After paying this much it did not seem prudent to depend on the soft bag Nikon provided for protection. This case came sooner than expected, has padding to protect the lens, seals securely to keep out dust and moisture, and protects against shock. The case is new, not used for long, but seems very well made and I trust it with my valuable lens. If I spend over two hundred dollars on a lens I also purchase a protective filter and secure, protective case.

I highly recommend this item. Quick delivery, reasonale, well comparatively reasonable price, and considering the investment in the product you want to protect, a good buy.

Got the Lowepro 11x26 to attach to a Lowepro Toploader Pro 75 AW. This allows me to carry a 80-400mm lens on my camera (stored in the toploader), or store the lens in the side case while I have another lens on the camera body in the toploader. And on those times I don't need the longer lens, the lens case works great for holding a flash, etc. I haven't had it long enough to have put the system though hours and hours of field testing, but so far it's working like a charm.

I bought this case as a complement for my regular camera bag (lowepro nova 140aw) that let me carry my ef 70-200f4L protected...And it is exactly what I needed: a nice, very well padded lens case.

Some considerations:

It is originally designed for a wider lens (like a 70-200 f2.8) so a lens like mine will not fit perfectly tight, but tight enough to be protected. Also, the 70-200f4 fits no problem with its lens hood attached. what's missing? all weather cover...but nothing in life is perfect. Overall, this is a very good product at an affordable price.

Made in USA, great lightweight pack. It has more than enough room for my Nikon D90 with kit lens.

I am using this back as an efficient way to take my camera gear aboard cruise ships. I can pack this pack, along with a few MAS modules (containing lenses, flash, and other accessories), and put them all into my non-photo backpack.

This was a replacement purchase for a bag lost in an accident so I have had years of use and experience with the Tamrac 515 and Nikon DSLRs. Quality is a given for both Tamrac and Lowepro products, so the key to the "5 Stars" is that the Tamrac 515 is compatible with the Tamrac Modular Accessory System; one can mount accessories via side slots. Most so-called zoom or holster bag lines do not have the side slots. The bag holds a DSLR with medium zoom with room in the top and front zippered pouches for spare batteries, media, lens cloths ... or even a small flash or battery charger in a pinch. The two side slots can be used to mount accessories from either the Tamrac Modular Accessory System or Lowepro pouches and lens cases. In "walkabouts", I often use the side slots to mount a Lowepro lens case for a second lens and a Lowepro Sliplock #10 pouch for a Gossen Digipro light meter. In short, no bag line I have found provides this flexibility and carrying capacity with so little bulk and weight. Highly recommended!

I used to have a cheap "leather" holster for my Canon Rebel camera, and I almost never used it besides for storage so inconvenient it was. I got this one for my Nikon D90 with 18-200 mm lens and it works amazingly well. Zippers move really smoothly and easily, and the holster itself is very light just what I needed for my backpacking trips. It's not cheap, but this is exactly the case when you are getting what you paid for! Highly recommended.

I have a Pentax K-10D with a big zoom and a small zoom. The only difficulty I had with the case was when a Pentax DA*60-250 lens is mounted on the K-10D, the assembled camera is too long for the case. The measurements on Tamrac's site and Amazon are clear, though, and this should be no surprise to anyone with that combination.

With a standard medium to long zoom and a couple other lenses this case is perfect for a day out. It holds just enough gear for a day trip. The strap is long enough to sling around my neck or shoulder and padded well enough to be comfortable. The storage setup is well-considered and fits everything I needed for a day with the camera.
