This bag was purchased to be a alternate camera bag for traveling with me when I must travel minimally. I travel with two carry-on bags. This bag needs to slide over the carry-on handle, and it does so perfectly.

I use it to transport a Nikon D800 (without the battery grip attached) and my 14-24mm lens (also not attached), and nothing else by choice.

I have a Tamrac Messenger 5 bag, and I use it when I travel to carry 5 or 6 lenses, my flash, my SLR, my iPad, and a ton of filters and memory cards, etc., etc. It's a lot of stuff, and it weighs a ton. And it eventually reached the point that I was hurting my shoulder, but I wanted a place to keep everything, and for that, it made sense. But I also realized that 90% of the time, I just wanted my standard 28-70mm lens, and my 70-200mm f2.8 lens, and my flash, and my iPad, and so, I went looking for a smaller bag that would carry what I wanted.

Strangely, it is not at all easy to find a bag that holds a 70-200 lens and a laptop. Some bags claim to hold the 70-200, but it really sticks about 1/4 out of the bag, and such a bag is not that small anyway, and it may not hold a computer (or preferably, an iPad).

The Tamrac Zuma 4 does hold all those things, and also a few others. Physically, it's not all that much smaller than the "official" size of the Messenger 5. It's about 75% of the size, but that's before I stuff the Messenger to be a third bigger than it's official size. I don't even try to do that with the Zuma, which keeps it to a more manageable size.

What I like --

1 -The bag is efficient and has a tall enough pocket to completely hold my 70-200. I also have a 1.4x converter and a 50mm lens, and the 28-70, and my wallet and Blackberry, and memory cards and batteries. Enough to cover most situations, and keep it all in the bag.

2 -The top of the bag is small enough that it doesn't get the camera strap stuck under the flap, as was always happening with the Messenger. I would click the snap on the Messenger, only to find that the strap was now stuck inside the bag, and I had to start over again.

3 -The pockets for smaller items are big enough to hold thicker items. The pocket for the iPad is the right size; it isn't really suitable for a laptop, but I don't care.

4 -It balances nicely on my shoulder. (By the way, I've added the Domke shoulder strap pad, and it works very nicely.)

What is okay --

1 -The bag is a tight fit for some things; for example, the strap for my camera has to be packed into the bag with just a bit of care; it doesn't just fall into the bag, like it does with my messenger.

2 -The orientation of the top and the side pouches seems to be backwards from what I am expecting. I think that most bags have the pouch for small parts on the other side of the bag. This isn't a problem, but it takes a bit of getting used to.

All things considered, I'm very happy with this bag. It is a lot more efficient than my old bag (which is still avaialable when I want to carry more gear.) And I can get my stuff in and out of it plenty fast enough.

I don't use this with a PAD, but that extra slots makes a good space to store filters and such. The front organiser pockets work well, the strap adjusts to my size with out putting the buckle in the wrong place and the top handles work well even if you only get one in your hand. The top which opens away from your body and the ample opening allow easy access the the camera and contents while wearing it.

The foam dividers are stout enough to support a body and lens and the main slot is deep enough for my 70-300 (6.5") and probably a little more. Also a 70-200 f2.8 can be stored on the side and not interfere with the camera.

This bag is not too big but capable of dealing with a reasonable kit nicely. There is plenty of organized secure storage for small items too.

Returned this item. I was looking for a carry-on bag for my dslr,iPad,phone etc.

I wanted something that would fit under the seat. This item was bulkier than I expected and was not very stylish. I ended up ordering the enthusiast from crumpler and I can not be happier. It is exactly what I was looking for and worth the extra money.

I was going on a trip and didn't want to lug my big ol' back pack with my 300 mm zoom lens and have all of that weight, plus my laptop and check-in luggage as I did when I flew down to Costa Rica last year. What a pain that was, especially when having to go thru customs and waiting around endless hours for connecting flights.

But I needed a bag that was easy to keep with me and still hold my Canon DSLR AND a 28-75 mm zoom, (f2.8), and a couple of accessories. This bag fit the bill. Granted, if you are going to take a lot of equipmentthis is not what you want. This bag is well padded for those moments when it might slip out of your hands and drop to the ground while you're trying to find your boarding pass. But for a DSLR and a decent lens to take with you for everyday pics it is just big enough, comfortable to handle and not at all cumbersome. I think it is well made. I read tons of reviews prior to making this selection... I made the right choice!

[Note: The powers that be are lumping all of the Vanguard BIIN series camera bag reviews together. This review is for the BIIN 10, which is much smaller than the BIIN 21.]

This is a small to medium-sized camera bag. It will barely fit my Canon Rebel XS, but only with the standard 18-55mm lens. [There is no way it will accommodate my 28-135mm lens.] However, with a more compact camera, like my Canon PowerShot S3IS, there is plenty of room.

The inside of the bag measures 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 5 (l x w x h). It features a zippered mesh pocket in the lid (for batteries and memory cards), a front pouch suitable for storing a lens cap, and a buckled front and zippered top opening. It also comes with an adjustable shoulder strap.

As a long-time yearbook adviser, I have more than two dozen cameras in my arsenal at school. Unfortunately, my students don't always treat my cameras as carefully as they should. This handy camera bag helps reassure me that cameras will get returned in the same condition that I checked them out.

I purchased three of these bags; so far, they have performed very well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The case fits my camera very well. I love the color. When I took it during my vacation, some friends said they really loved this case, lol. However, the fur inside the case gets into the tinny gap of my camera, making it dirty.

I purchased this for a trip I was taking to Europe for a little extra protection for my Canon t3i.

I've never drop my camera but while on vacation I dropped it twice not a scratch and the camera never stopped working. I'll never go out without this camera case never. If you think it cost to much or it looks to bulky, drop your camera once and break it. then ask your self why didn't I buy that case, why.

The ONA bag is well finished and great for a small camera such as a micro four-thirds and a few lenses. The only thing I would have liked was a strap handle on the top of the bag. It's easy to pick it up by the shoulder strap, but I get nervous about picking up camera bags by the shoulder strap. I've been known not to fasten the top of the bag, if I forgot and picked the bag by the shoulder strap, everything spills out. A handle on the top of the bag gives you feedback real quick if you hadn't fastened the bag. Beyond that, it's very well built, hangs well, and looks great.

I read the reviews -which all seemed to say you could fit an SLR with lens attached and an additional lens in the main compartment -so I purchased this bag hoping I could fit more than one lens. This bag would work well for a crop sensor camera. I have a full frame (5D Mark II) and I can only fit the camera with 16-35mm wide angle attached. It's very tight with the strap attached to the camera, so I've been using my camera with no strap when I carry it in this bag. It's very cute and stylish though.

I have been through several camera bags in search of the perfect one. This bag is my favorite. The quality is exceptional and beautiful. It is sturdy and feels comfortable carrying it across the body. It is a little small for my Nikon D700 the front bulges out and I had to adjust the strap to be able to close it. It would be perfect if it was just a little deeper. I'm still keeping it. I can fit the camera with lens attached and an extra lens.

I purchased the Camaroo DSLR M-22 insert to put use to my backpack rather than carry around a dedicated camera bag. It fits perfectly into my small Jansport book bag from high school, and provides a decent level of protection with the padding on all 4 sides and bottom. It is large enough to adequately house my 5D MkII with a 24-105 mounted, a 50mm 1.4 off to the side, and other essentials such as a 580EXII plus various batteries, cards, and the charger if need be. Very happy with the storage capacity. One thing I can complain about, however, is the lack of padding on the lid, which is where your DSLR screen will be facing. I know that it doesn't mention padding on the lid in the item description, but I personally think the item would be much better with it. Especially when this insert will be going in my bookbag, and I will be piling stuff on top of it, and not to mention, my screen.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and it will be perfect for my Disney trip next week!

I purchased this to hold my Canon T3i with battery grip and attached Tamron 18-270mm lense in my purse, and it works perfect! I can even carry my 18-55mm kit lense with me if I want. I was tired of carrying an extra bag for my camera, and I paid to much for the camera to just let it flop around in my purse. I looked at many different types of bags, purses, and inserts to try and figure out which was the best option for me, and this works great. I just had to purchase a larger purse to hold this and my normal purse items, and now I only have one bag to carry, and my camera is always by my side now. I also like that it has a cover on it. Some I looked at did not, and it has worked great at keeping unwanted items away from my camera. I could not be happier with it, and it has met my needs perfectly :-)

I used this for a trip flying and wanted to keep my camera and laptop with me on the plane. I picked up a back pack with a laptop sleeve and put this insert in the bottom. Plenty of room for my Nikon D80 w/ battery pack, two lenses, charger and room left over for my Luminix. Could use more padding on the bottom but I remedied that using some foam packing material under the sleeve. I would recommend this item.

This is actually nicely made especially when you compare it to others. The camera holder is designed to accommodate the viewfinder prism and securely wraps the lens and supports the camera. My D600 fits in it nicely with a lens mounted and there is room for another lens in the case as well as a battery or other small items. I'm not sure though if a D800 will fit unless you unmount the lens. They should consider making this in an assortment of larger sizes. I bought this to fit into 5.11 MOAB 6 sling bag as a day carrier and it does the job quite well.

this is by far one of the best messenger style camera bags I have found in a long time. It is well constructed and thoughtfully designed specifically for photography pros.

Interiors:

Roomy and spacious. It fits a considerable amount of lenses, flashes, cables, and a full sized 15 inch laptop. The interiors are a bright construction orange to give a nice contrast to the equipment you need to carry.

The padding is slightly thin but it does the job. The pads are velcro adjustable and accommodates about 6-8 consumer kit lenses; or 4-5 pro-sized lenses. There is a series of 4 padded CF memory card pockets along the top. I have Canon with an extended battery grip. It fits comfortably.

The main compartment is modular and removable. In the front, there's 1 see-through zipper pocket for accessories and series of smaller pockets to hold small items. The bag comes with a small, palm sized padded case that carries loose articles.

Exterior.

The bag has a tough ballistic nylon shell. There's a handy compression-style neoprene stretch pocket on one corner that holds a variety of quick grab and go items like lens caps, keys, and a smartphone.

The bag's top flap is the true genius part of the design. Like a conventional messenger bag, the top flap clips shut with a single plastic clip. There is a zipper along the inside edge of the flap to completely contain the bag's contents (my main beef with other messenger bags is the lack of this zipper to completely seal the bag). The best part is a separate top zipper to access the bag when the flap is shut. Then the bag quickly opens its top for a very quick access. There is even a clever magnetic fastener that keeps the zipper from accidentally opening during normal use.

The bag has straps that help attach itself to roll-on carry-ons at the airport. It also includes a rain fly pocket with a tethered rain fly. And finally, there is an extendable tripod pocket to fit a small tripod. (the fit is tight and snug for a small travel sized tripod.)

Overall, this seems like a thoughtfully appointed bag designed for the active photojournalist. I am very happy with my purchase.

You know when you've found the wrong bag a lot faster than when you've found the right one. And it's a lot easier to recommend camera gear than it is a camera bag. As much a matter of personal taste and preference as shooting style and gear used, everything about them from looks to layout is completely subjective.

If you're looking here you can count yourself in the minority while well known for other types of gear, Vanguard seems to be flying under the radar when it comes to carry luggage; in the USA anyway. I've owned very few bags since the 70's, they tend to last me and become second nature. I don't even think about them after a while. That's the whole idea. And, that's what makes finding the perfect "companion" a daunting task. I've looked at the old standby brands (many of which I own), and the newer "trendier" ones available. When looking for this bag, I wanted something to carry most of my gear and it had to be a shoulder-style bag. The new style messenger bags held interest for their ability to carry a camera with a large lens mounted for easy access.

At first I was looking at the Vanguard Up-Rise, which has been awarded like crazy in Europe in the last couple of years. It's a great layout, expandable and still relatively narrow. But, it appeared it would fall just a bit short of my desire to be able to haul most of my gear a travel bag. So, I turned to the Haralder 33. I don't have a need to haul a large laptop (15"+), and the difference between this and the 38 as far as camera gear carried is negligible.

The Vanguard is a perfect hybrid between a regular shoulder bag and a messenger/courier bag. Shoulder bags are great for having lots of pockets and easy access to your goodies, but not so great at lugging around. They're best when they're sitting on a table. messenger bags are easier to cart around, but tend to be short on pockets as quick access to gear is the priority. This is fine when you're only carrying the essentials like a camera and lens but I lean towards the boy-scout end of the spectrum when it comes to preparedness.

The design of this bag is brilliant and simple. Topside, there is a zippered and snap top flap to access your gear like a regular shoulder bag. On the very top of this "lid" is another zipper to access your camera and other gear in a flash. There is a small magnetic tab you flip out of the way, which prevents the zipper from accidentally opening. You can grab not only your camera this way, but a lens, a flash or whatever you have in the "main section" qiuckly and easily. Additionally, on the inside of this flap are 2 little easy access pockets for your memory cards (CF and SD fit fine). Pretty much anything you'll need can be accessed instantly and silently.

I've played with other messenger style bags that had zippered top sections, or places to hold laptops etc. but none were as clever and as useful as this. They've figured out a perfect compromise as far as accessibility and safety.

The boxlike "main section" is removable and has the typical Velcro partitions for customizing the shape and size of the interior sections. Outside of this section are other pockets and sections built into the bag itself. Of course there is a padded and zippered removable sleeve for your laptop. This in turn slides into the back section of the bag (the side against your body). It is held firmly in place with Velcro tabs, which is removed quite easily. behind this is yet another zippered section large enough for manuals, cables, or even a kindle or ipad mini.

How big is it? On a recent trip this is what I carried on my flight I would NOT recommend walking around with this as it did get heavy!

Canon 60D with fat Crumpler strap, Canon PowerShot D20 with Olympus floating strap, Sigma 70-200 f2.8 OS with tripod collar and hood, Sigma 17-50 f2.8 and hood, Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 and hood, Nikkor 50 f1.4, Yongnuo YN-565ex (in case), Canon Speedlite 420 (in case), Toshiba Satellite & charger, Kindle Fire, 2 Trigmaster Plus triggers & all cables, 4 snap-packs AA eneloop batteries & charger, Chargers for both cameras, spare batteries, original 60D manual, lenspen, rocket blower, microfiber cloth, assorted papers, checkbook, pens & pencils, meds, first aid kit, business cards etc.

Now, as you've probably guessed this bag was stuffed to the gills at this point! Also to be fair I wouldn't be able to access some things quickly or easily. The camera was carried body only with a cap and that still threw the TSA. I had to put a lens on it to prove it was a camera. Go figure.

On any given day I'll have the camera, 2-3 lenses, 2 flashes, a tablet and assorted sundries. It's quite easy to carry and there's lots of extra room. Plus, it's one of the few bags I could have an f2.8 70-200 mounted to my camera, and still have room for spare lenses without having to stack them.

Pros:

Well built

Well padded

Metal clips and rings NO PLASTIC

Bright orange interior (easy to see tiny black parts)

Easy access top section with magnetic safety catch

Memory card pockets also easily accessible via top zippered section

Useful interior pockets well placed

Useful exterior pockets

Can carry and quickly access camera with 70-200 f2.8 mounted

Understated elegance handsome orange details

Ergonomic curved shoulder strap and extra strap to secure to body

Extra padded case for laptop

Extra padded case for P&S or whatever

Removable interior compartment and re-positionable dividers

Heavy coated bottom (who knows what you'll set it on/in)

Tripod carrying harness (cleverly hidden/placed)

Luggage handle securing velcro strap

Rain Cover

Amazing price considering

Cons:

Looks like camera bag

ID tag isn't standard business card size

If you have an aversion to the color orange...

Some dividers dark gray, not orange (does add contrast however)

Curved shape of top flap makes zippering difficult (there are 2 tabs to hold that make this easier, undocumented but make a difference)

Big (then don't get this model!)

Small (it will be for some!)

Um...

To explain this long-winded review a bit more, I purchased this bag sight unseen. It was based on youtube videos almost exclusively. I handled models by my old standby Lowepro, ThinkTank, Crumpler and Tumbuk2 to name a few, and didn't like any of them for one reason or another. Nobody carried Vanguard locally, so I took a chance. I had no idea the bag would blow those other ones out of the water in so many ways. It's a hard thing to buy a bag, much less one you can't handle yourself.

If your needs are the same for a laptop, but lighter on camera gear I'd recommend looking at the Up-Rise line. Other than that after several months with this bag I like it enough to have written this review. I would not hesitate recommending the Vanguard Bags to anybody regardless of what they're looking for. Well built, well designed and just an all around great bag. Five stars.

*** Update 3/12 ***

Heralder Series wins TIPA 2012 Award for Best Photo Bag.

*** Update 9/21/13 ***

This bag has been in constant use and gone to Hawaii twice, seen rainstorms, been dropped, kicked, dragged and then dropped again. It looks like it did the day I got it. There has been zero wear anyplace. Not even a stain. Cleans right up.

To update the carry list for the latest trip, substitute the 60D for a 6D, the smaller Sigma 17-50 and 10-20 lenses for an EF 24-105 and 17-40 (with hoods), the 420ex for a 600ex-rt (and case), one more trigger, an ipad 4 instead of a kindle, 3 filters and boxes, a charger for the eneloops (just a wall type) in addition to 3 camera battery chargers, iPad charger and phone charger oh, and a sunglasses case. It was actually a bit lighter this time!

This is such a fantastic product I'll be getting the Up-Rise 28, either the I or II. The I is a pretty tempting price right now. I'd like something a little smaller for carry around the II has a harness to use as a backpack. Vanguard continues to impress and innovate.

Best Deals for VANGUARD THE HERALDER 28 Messenger Bag

I've never owned a camera bag, but I did a ton of research online before purchasing. I never thought of the importance of the bag since I'm used to just holding the camera. With stepping up to the 5D I knew I needed the protection of not only the camera, but the lens and other junk I was going to accumulate to fuel my passion.

Quality of materials very well made, I'll have this bag for at least 10 years.

Space Canon 5D MK III, Tamron 24-70, Canon 50mm, charger, Giotto Rocket Blaster (must buy), LED hotshoe light, cords, headphones, ipad, and there is room for more. The bag gets heavy with this much stuff and gets really heavy when using the tripod straps for my tripod, but that option is there if I need it.

A 15" laptop (at least mine) does not fit in the laptop sleeve and won't fit in the bag with the laptop sleeve, but it will "squeeze" in if I take the sleeve out of the bag. Its doable, just not comfortable. (I have the Messenger 33 bag some reviews here seem to reference the size up from this bag)

With the weight though, the metal rings and attachments on the strap can handle it. The padding on the strap is good, but I wish they went with a wider strap pad section. I feel its a hair too skinny, but the padding is thick enough.

People have complained about the handle, but its placed where it needs to be if you wan that top bag zipper access. A little tip regarding the handle is if you hold the handle with one hand its easier to zip the bag with the other. For whatever weird reason, it works.

Love the bag, love my Vanguard tripod as well.

Honest reviews on VANGUARD THE HERALDER 28 Messenger Bag

Love this bag for carrying a multitude of lenses, which I did on a recent vacation where I knew I would be shooting a variety of wildlife, landscapes, and people. For a large bag like this, it'd be perfect if it was on wheels! Carrying this through the airport on your shoulder or back is difficult at best. With my camera, tripod, 8 lenses, laptop and iPad, it was close to 50#. Well organized and it seems to be strongly made, which I like, but for the money, wheels should be an added feature.

I bought this bag for my first DSLR. I have the 60d which is a bigger mid-range camera. First of all, the shipping speed was amazing. It arrived along with my 4 other items 3 days before estimated delivery. I was very pleased. Upon opening I was very happy with the product, however it was just a little bit smaller than I had originally anticipated, however I put the camera in a found the tight fit actually helped secure in the camera. I have two additional lenses which also fit nicely. The only complaints I have so far is there is no where to fit a small travel tripod, and you have to do some major adjusting until it's a comfortable fit. I do like the 'under the arm" strap the reduces the bag movement while on the go. Another great feature is the rain flap that comes out from under the bag over the top. After having this product for a few weeks I would highly recommend this for those who are looking something small to travel with-only taking a few lenses.

Loved this for travellight to carry and easy to get into. Wouldn't be the best for photo shoots where you need multiple lenses, but it's great for what it is.

Just like everything else in the Tamrac M.A.S. line, I found this to be great construction and the feel of it is very comfortable.

The ONLY drawback (and it caused me to return mine) is the size information. The Amazon website has no specific size info past the model number & "Accessory Belt Small," so I had to refer to the Tamrac site. Their site says that it "Fits waist sizes up to 40." I have a 36" waist, so this is the one I ordered figuring I would have a few inches of slack. Once I received it, I adjusted it all the way out & it barely clipped and I was only wearing street pants & a t-shirt. Once it gets colder, I will not be able to wear this at all with even a light jacket.

I estimate that if you want to make sure that you can wear this in cold weather over an average winter coat (not a ski jacket just an average coat), you'll need a 32" waist or smaller instead of the 40" that Tamrac claims. The medium size of this belt is supposed to fit up to 46" waist, so you may want to be safe when you order.

The belt is top notch, but just make sure that you don't have to return yours for this reason.

I ruled out a backpack for my photo equipment and opted for this belt system instead after two of my friends had their backpacks stolen when they put them down in public places. My hope was that the belt would be comfortable enough that I just left it on all the time when I took my gear out. It is.

I'm really glad I didn't listen to the friend who told me not to "waste" the money on this belt and to just buy a military surplus utility belt instead.

This functional part of this belt is well constructed, sturdy, and easy to adjust and to take on and off. It's the padding that really makes the thing worthwhile, though. The padded backing of the belt is about 5 inches wide at it's widest point, and quite thick. It makes wearing the belt, and carrying a substantial amount of weight on it, easy and comfortable.

I recently spent the day at the Cleveland Zoo, walking up and down the paths, with the belt loaded with a super-zoom digital camera, a mini camcorder, a water bottle and my Treo. It never felt heavy or irritating. And for what it's worth, only the camera was in a Tamrac case all the other items were in cases by other makers, and they all easily fit on the belt.

About the only drawback I can see is that the belt has to be taken off your person and off the padding at least part way in order to put the cases on it. It's a little bit inconvenient, but the trade-off is that you know your gear is securely attached to your person and less likely to fall off or be pulled off the belt.

I don't need to write volumes about this product. But I will say it does exactly what I needed it to do, and I found it comfortable to wear. I specifically had in mind photographing wedding day activities, including working without an assistant and in more spread-out spaces when I decided to try this item. This belt strapped on comfortably over my dress pants (and belt) and allowed me to attach a couple of pouches for holding lenses, a flash and miscellaneous gear. Everything I needed that wasn't in hand was available on my person and easily accessible. A significant improvement over trying to use a "fanny" pack for holding lenses and such, or having to run over to a bag in a corner every time I needed to swap something out.

The belt distributed the weight and did not bind, feeling comfortable even over my hip bones and dress belt. It held whatevr pouches I needed pouches securely. I'm very happy with this product!

I tried out this belt carrying one Nikon DLSR with 300mm zoom and one Panasonic zoom camera along with a bottle of water walking around an airshow all day. The web belt kept working loose after a while which would allow the padded belt to shift out of position. The outer web belt is only attached to the padded belt at a few points, which allows the belt to sag quite a bit with the DLSR weight.

I used this with the optional Tamrac shoulder harness. Everything feels comfortable when it's all tight and positioned properly, just wish it would stay that way. It would have been good to have velcro attachment for the padded belt as a secondary feature. Plan on trying out a belt from Think Tank photo which looks to be a better design.

It's pretty good but, very big for the digilux 3, so there is a lot of empty space around the camera

I get that question a lot while carrying my camera in this case. If you're expecting real leather for this price, get realistic! Well built, fits even with the electric viewfinder on, and comes with a much longer neck strap than the camera's original.

After trying a few box like bags, I looked for a messenger style bag that would be at once more discreet and efficient. The box like bags are more difficult to set up and waste space, unless you have tons of gear, in my opinion.

What I have in this bag:

D40 camera with attached tripod QR plate.

Kit lens 18-55

Lens 55-200

Lens 30mm prime

Small SB400 flash

Filters.

It all fits in perfectly. The D40 + 55-200 with the hood attached also fits in perfectly because of the depth.

Build quality is good and is comfortble to lug around.

Caveat: Other than the flap, there is no other, inner, cover. I.e. you open the flap and expose the camera. I was a bit scared at first, but the design works very well. There is a short tab on each side that helps contain your gear and makes sure nothing can fall out. This also explains why the carry handle is sewn to the back of the bag and not in the center/top.

Bottom line, everything is secure, but easily and quickly accessed, explaining why the name of this bag is "Express"...

I was considering between this Tamrac express 7 and crumpler 5 or6 Million dollar bag and I ended up choosing this one since it is almost only half of the Crumpler price.

This is a stylish bag that doesn't look like camera bag, light, big storage room and lot of pockets for filters, cell phone, MP3..etc

Khaki color appears better than in the picture too.

I am able to fit

1.canon 350D with Zeiss Jena 35mm/2.4

2.580 speedlite flash

4.50mm/1.8

5 sigma 10-20mm with hood

6.canon 28-135mm/4.5~5.6 with hood

that is 1 body +4 lens + 1 flash !

this bag is way better than advertised. Highly recommended!

I needed a bag that does not really look like a Camera Bag, is small enough to carry around and holds my most important gear.

The Tamrac Express 7 came closest to what I wanted.

After the box arrived I was a little puzzled as to how small the box was but hey, it's a soft bag.

The bag itself seemed a little small for my needs and I was not sure how I can make the stuff I needed to carry around fit. But to my surprise it fit OK. Snug but it worked.

Here is what I have in there (usually)

Left side: Canon 580EX Flash with diffuser attached

Middle Bottom: Canon 50mm 1.8 prime lens

Middle Top: Canon EOS 40D with Sigma 17-70 with hood

Right side: Canon 70-200L with hood

Various Memory Cards and stuff in the front zipper.

The overall quality of the bag feels very nice and it carries very well.

The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I wish it was just a tad larger for todays SLR Cameras.

Honest reviews on Tamrac 3537 Express 7 Camera Bag -Black

I am a professional photographer and I debated endlessly about this bag. I wanted something that would carry my 5D, 24-70L and 70-200L with hoods.

Unfortunately this bag is way too small.

Further with the included lens hood, it is virtually impossible to pull a lens out of the bag.

Why did I give it 5 stars? While it didnt meet my needs I think it is perfectly suited for someone that owns a small dSLR such as the Canon Rebel XT/XTi series. The construction is top notch and it looks great. Just not big enough for a pro.

The bag itself is well made and padded and has enough space for me to carry my two DSLRs with telephoto lenses (30D with Sigma 70-300 DG APO and 450D with 70-200 f/4L), and an assortment of extra batteries and memory cards. However, when the DSLR/lens combo is stored with the lens pointing down and the lens hood on backwards, it's awkward and difficult to pull the camera out with one hand because the lip of reversely attached lens hood always gets caught on the velcro strip that runs about 2" below the bag top, parallel to the bag top.

The shoulder strap also isn't particularly comfortable, and the thread holding the rubberised area over the extra padding for the shoulder is already becoming to come undone (only had the bag for two months, and used it for maybe 3 outings). I'm going to go to a travel goods store and see if I can get a replacement strap.

ZAGG OLYTGHTG1S invisibleSHIELD for Olympus Tough TG-1 (Clear) Reviews

ZAGG OLYTGHTG1S invisibleSHIELD for Olympus Tough TG-1

I wanted some screen protection for my new Olympus Tough point and shoot digicam, and this fit the bill. Fairly easy installation (the only frustrating part was keeping surfaces dust-free...but other than that, not too bad. Initially there were some small bubbles under the protector, but as the instructions said, they worked themselves out (mostly) after a few days. Again, it's not invisible (slightly worsens screen quality), but I'd rather have a slightly-worse viewing experience than scratches on my screen.

Fits the TG-2. My only concern that only time will tell is if it will lift off at any time.
