I got this case for my Canon G15 and it fits nicely inside including the stock camera strap. It's well padded and provides good protection from bumps and scratches.

The body of this pouch is decent. The interior is soft, it offers dual zippers, and the only complaint I have about the body of this pouch is that the front zippered pocket is so tiny, it's next to useless. They should have opted for a pocket that has an exterior volume, such as you'll find in a Tamrac of similar size.

However, the real problem is the attachment system. Any decent pouch has a permanently sewn belt strap. But not this one. No, they chose to use a closure mechanism of... velcro. Yes, a cheap patch of velcro. For a belt strap, a velcro closure means you'll lose your pouch if you laugh too hard especially if you strap it to a shoulder strap, rather than a belt. Oh, and they have a secondary method a flimsy half-inch single snap closure. This is unbelievably poorly designed.

If you get this pouch, you can maybe keep from losing it on your first week if you superglue the snap shut. However, the velcro is going to shred and tear apart any strap or belt you put this pouch on.

Pearstone needs to get rid of these gimmick closures and put on a proper webbing strap that's permanently sewn on both ends.

Until they do, know what you're getting before you buy this.

It is quite nice neoprene (seems like neoprene) but closure can't be trusted. Lightweight plastic slide "lock" doesn't hold well.

Also fits the Coolpix S8000 series (S8100, S8200, etc.) and probably also all Coolpix S7000 and S9000

The Empire case is very similar to the "official" S-camera series Nikon cases. Nikon Coolpix S8100 Black Leather Case. My S8100 and S8200 cameras fit into it well.

SIMILARITIES

> Outer surface leather (or a leather-like material)

> Magnetic closure. Essentially a "quick draw holster"---very easy to get your camera out, or put it back.

> Belt loops. Rides very well on a belt, but there is no other way to carry it. I suggest an inexpensive black military-type belt, which can be worn even without belt loops to hold the camera. Army Camouflage or Solid Color Military Web Belts.

DIFFERENCES

> MUCH less expensive than the Nikon case. Not quite the same quality, but close.

> Sides are short lengths of black elastic strap. Therefore offers less protection from rain, dust, etc. than the Nikon case (which has soft leather sides).

> Hole in the bottom facilitates your "quick draw". (e.g., push up with a finger of your left hand while lifting the camera out with your right hand. However, that also means that you can't have anything loose in the bottom of the case (such as a business card or a spare memory card).

> No memory card pocket (however the pocket in the Nikon Case is poorly located, using it could scratch the view screen).

> Belt clip in addition to belt loops. So, you can use it on pants (or a skirt) without a belt. However, the clip is much less secure than the loops, and makes the case over 1/4" bulkier.

> Case is a single peice of material (leather or leather-like), as a result the bottom side is rounded. The Nikon case is sewn together from multiple pieces of leather, and has seams on the bottom edges. The result is that the Nikon case stands securely on a desk (etc.) while the Empire case may fall over.

EVALUATION

In general, does the job just as well as the Nikon case. I prefer the Nikon case, but it's a close call.

I wanted the ability to carry camera in a safe and efficient manner. This case does the trick. I simply clip it onto my belt and it frees hands and pockets. It is well made. I have gotten it wet in the rain. It protected the camera and I saw no ill affects due to being in the weather. It fit my camera well and I have no complaints about its functionality, look, or construction. I was in some extremely hot weather and it was nice to be able to get to the camera without having to carry a bag. Also, I can not over emphasize the convenience of being able to clip my camera on and the sercuity of knowing where I put my camera.

Feels and looks good. High quality finish. U wish it would have snuggly fit my Sony RX100. The outer case is little loose, however the inner case fits well. I like the color and the feel. The weight is light and hags well on the shoulder.

I am very pleased with this case for carrying my NEX-6 with the 16-50mm lens (Sony NEX-6L/B 16.1 MP Compact Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera with 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens and 3-Inch LED (Black)). It is nicely padded and there are compartments for spare SD cards and batteries. The small size of this case is perfect for carrying my camera around when I don't plan to use the larger 55-210mm lens.

Edit 5/31 & 6/28/13: The NEX-6 will also fit with one of the following lenses:

* Sony 50mm lens (with lens hood reversed for storage) snug fit

* Sigma 30mm lens (pre-2013 version) easy fit

* Sigma 19mm lens (pre-2013 version) snug fit with lens hood, easy fit when hood reversed for storage

These may help give an idea what other lens-body combinations may work with this case.

Of course, there is no room in this case for an extra lens. But it is great if you know what lens you want to use and just want something to protect the camera.

Edit 6/26/13: For those looking for a case for other cameras, I can tell you that my Canon Vixia HG 20 camcorder fits nicely, though with a very large battery it only just zips closed. There is no place to store larger accessories, such as an external microphone. My Panasonic FZ35 will not fit at all with the lens hood attached, and if I take that off, it is an extremely tight fit too tight for my comfort. Both of these are out of production, but comparison with either of these may give you a better idea whether this case would fit your particular camera.

The description for this case was "off" but I took the chance and ordered it based on the title (size reads 1x1x1 inch! which is obviously inaccurate!). Amazon is going to charge me at least half the price of what I paid for this bag to return it for refund, so I will keep it and maybe put our tiny video camera in it. Just want others to know that it will NOT work for a "superzoom" camera at least not mine (Canon SX50). This case is only for extremely compact cameras, and for that it would be a good buy. p.s. would LOVE it if anyone could recommend something that does work for the SX50. Thanks!

Update:

To start; this is not a bad review, I bought it in hope that it would fit the camera stated in the title.

The case itself is very well made, and if it does fit your camera, you will be very happy with it.

Original:

I bought this to fit the Canon SX50 HS camera, it arrived the day before we left on vacation.(me not thinking ahead!)

It is so close, but just does not fit the camera.

Such a shame as it would have been perfect. It was nice enough to keep I now have my GPS and all the accessories in it. so not a total loss.

Ended up going to best buy and picking up a Manfrotto one for 4 times the cost. ($30) due to departing the next morning.

Great case for the money (

Be carefull buying this bundle of products from cameta camera. They didn't deliver what was promised and advertised and replied back to my claim saying that the package was scanned prior to shipment and everything was "supposed" to be at the package. Just an excuse for not honoring with the advertising. I just acquired the bag due to the supposed "value" cameta camera was promising for the bundle, but it is a false advertising. Don't take the risk with cameta camera promised values for their products/bundles. Spend even a couple of dollars more, but ensure you get what you paid for.

Nice kit! The tripod is nice. I thought it would be cheap but it's pretty sturdy. The camera bag is great. Holds my d3100 and lots of extras. The fasteners on the front of the bag are metal which I really like....not cheap plastic that will break over time. I'm happy with my purchase.

Honest reviews on Nikon Deluxe Digital SLR Camera Case - Gadget Bag with Tripod

I did some price-shopping before I bought this package deal. The price for all you get is more than worth it. The gadget bag in my local stores cost about as much or more, and you get a professional looking tripod, a cleaning kit, a memory card wallet, and an LCD screen protector pack for the same price. If you are starting out with a Nikon camera, and want a place to store your camera and accessories, I would highly recommend this kit.

It has been a time since I bought and use the SHIELD with my Canon camera and it is still protecting it.

Not an scratch on it, no problems of falling off at all. It is in place as for the first day.

Totally recommended this product.

After I installed the shield, I could barely even tell it was there! You can feel that there is a film over the screen and you can see it when th camera is off, but as soon as the screen is on it disappears completely! It's nice knowing that the screen is now scratch-proof.

Best Deals for ZAGG CANPSSX210ISS invisibleSHIELD for Canon Powershot SX210 IS

Wanted to cover the LCD screen of my new Canon PowerShot SX210 IS and this was one of the few products I found that stated it would fit. I have used other ZAGG invisibleShield products before and so far this lives up to the performance I expected. I gave it 5 stars because it does protect the screen, it does fit and these are the things it is supposed to do. I almost removed a star for the difficulty in installation however. Clearer instruction might have helped. Perhaps this will help others.

Cleaning the screen is vital and doing this in as clean an environment as you can is helpful. Dust particles seem to appear from nowhere. The first application didn't take and the shield needed to be removed and redone. It did come off as it is supposed to and we cleaned it and began again.

The secret aside from clean screen and no dust particles is to use PLENTY of the adhesive solution. It really seemed like A LOT but clearly needed since the first application didn't work.

It looks extremely wet when you put it on and that worried me on electronics, but have a paper towel standing by. Smooth the screen from the center out SLOWLY, as the liquid squeezes out under the plastic, dab it with the paper towel to soak it up along the edges as it appears. Be patient and get all the bubbles out and soaked up and voila, good install with no dust particles or bubbles. I just wish the instructions were a bit more specific about the amount of adhesive solution you'd want to use.

Thank goodness for this case! It took me awhile to find it most cases I came across were too small for the Canon Powershot SX230 HS Canon PowerShot SX230HS 12 MP Digital Camera with HS SYSTEM and DIGIC 4 Image Processor (Black). This is an absolute perfect fit. The case is nice and snug around the camera. I like that it has the caribiner attachment my case for my old camera had it and I always hung the case from my pants. Overall the perfect case for a great camera.

Best Deals for CaseCrown Pebbled Granite Hard Cover Case (Red) for Point and Shoot

I was a little worried that the case was going to be small for my camera but it turned out fitting perfectly in the case. I also put a spare battery in the little pouch located inside the case and although it was a little snugger once zipped closed, it still fit nicely. The color of the case looks a little bluer on my computer but in real life it's a really pale blue, which in my opinion is a nice contrast against the black zipper. For the price, I think it's a good buy. Update: After about a month of having the case, the clip broke while I tried clipping it to my pants (and I hadn't handled it roughly at all). Sometimes I have a hard time zipping the case closed-the zipper doesn't run very smoothly. Besides these things, it still think it's a good case. My camera was in this case and it slipped out of my hands (a 3 foot drop) and luckily nothing happened to my camera.

This case fits my Canon sx230 HS perfectly with a little pocket for an extra battery or memory card. We haven't dropped it or anything yet but it appears to be pretty sturdy. My only disappointment was that they sent me red when I ordered blue. I didn't feel like bothering to exchange it, though.

Just purchased a leather case for my Canon T3i from this seller and am very happy with the purchase. I had purchased a similar leather case for my Canon G11 and was exteremely happy with the look and fit and equally happy with this one. The case fits my Canon T3i with 55-250mm lense perfectly (there's some extra space when used with my 18-55mm lense but still fits well). The case arrived timely and without issue. Would recommend this case and seller to others.

Express Insert for Dslr Camera - Exp 2.0 Reviews

Express Insert for Dslr Camera - Exp 2.0

I just recently purchased the Olympus OMD E-M5 and this case is nearly perfect. I did add an extra insert from my Crumpler to keep it from banging around but otherwise it holds my entire travel kit consisting of:

Olympus OMD E-M5 (one of the lenses below must be attached)

Oly 12-50mm lens

Oly 40-150 lens

Pany 20mm pancake

iPad Camera connector

the supplied USB cable

the supplied Oly flash

2 SDHC cards

2 extra batteries

The ginormus battery charger had to go in a separate bag but hoping the travel charger I purchased (not yet received) will fit. Well worth the purchase and works better for this system than the Crumpler bag I have for my DSLR. All in all, very satisfied.

**UPDATE** I added some OP/TECH Uni connectors on the side handles so my camera neck sling doubles as a strap for the case. This is for when I need to just run out quickly and don't want to bring my entire backpack. I bring both the hand strap & hand strap with me when I travel so it all kind of works!

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I love this case. It fits my Nikon D90 with 10-24mm lens and an additional 18-105 mm lens. No extra place for chargers (I do not care about protecting the charger though). It is durable and gives enough protection for my camera. I put this little case in my backpack and it fits perfectly!

Best Deals for Express Insert for Dslr Camera - Exp 2.0

Much sturdier than it looks in the photo, and the velcro is very tight. Also includes handholds on the sides that you can attach a strap to if you want.

Honest reviews on Express Insert for Dslr Camera - Exp 2.0

This fit in my day pack on the Inca Trail in Peru. My backpack has a very exaggerated curve which did make it a little hard to get to this insert when it was near the bottom of the backpack, but I do like that the insert is padded but soft enough to conform. The side grips helped in those situations where I needed to pull the insert out to retrieve my camera. I fit my Canon T4i with 15-85mm lens, along with a 50mm 1.8f lens, 2 spare batteries, and a pen cleaner.

This bag is great for protecting most DSLRs while still allowing you to choose your desired outer backpack or bag. I have tested it with a Canon T2i and a Canon 60d. Both fit perfect with the 18-55mm and 18-135mm lenses. The velcro partitions allow you to customize the interior to best fit the camera and lens combo. I like that the bag has a lid the closes and an outer strap to hold on to. I deducted one star because I wish the opening to the bag was a bit "taller" so a DSLR with a battery grip attached could fit. I also bought the 3.0 sized bag and it unfortunately has the same issue.

First off, I never write product reviews. However, when I went in search of the perfect professional bag, I decided after months of looking, reading hundreds of reviews, and almost ordering a bag or two, a review was exactly what I needed to do. A little background: I'm 5'4'' & used to carry two lens, one external flash, one professional camera body and my emergency kit all in a 4 lb bag. The word "crafty" might come to mind. I knew when I upgraded my equipment I wanted the ability to house two camera bodies, two-three lenses, my external flash, diffuser, extra batteries and my emergency day of kit that I carry, & to be able to have everything in one place, for each and every wedding. I originally HATED the Jill E. The size, the styles, etc. Nothing seemed to fit me, except for the white & bone bag, that was out of my price range, because I knew, being a "scrappy" photographer, I was going to have the bag either ruined, or scuffed up in only a matter of a few events. My other biggest problem was the size issue. Nothing I read, saw, or had heard could describe to me exactly what the size was going to look like on me. I'm a small build, so I didn't want a bag to swallow me whole or be too heavy or uncomfortable. My original first pick, was to get a Kelly Moore, hobo style. I had swooned over the ability to zip or simply close the flap for easy access for months and then when they finally had a shipment in, I backed out. I watched the informational video & thought the bag just wouldn't work for me. It didn't seem deep enough, a lens might fall out, or I might not fully get the lens back in the bag, or might miss the opening. I think you get where I'm going, my equipment trumps the bag style. I looked into the expensive brands I have seen elsewhere, over the shoulder totes, and even totes that National Geographic endorses. Nothing seemed to fit me. Finally, I made up my mind & had my husband order the Jill E medium black bag for me. It was a little more than I had wanted to spend, it was a little bigger than I really wanted to get into, but when it arrived, it was love at first sight. The design is flawless. Truly. Not only is the leather soft to the touch, but the little velcro packs on the inner flap of the zipper are ingenious & easy to access to refill my flash with, there is a pocket for any need, even your cell phone. The inside is completely adjustable. Every flap inside is velcro, so when you get it, you can arrange it however you like. I can fit more than enough equipment inside. I comfortably house my d7000 + vertical grip, my extra d40x body, my 18-200 attached or separate, my 35 mm attached or separate, my sb-600, my diffuser, my cell phone, my wallet, and even a sweater, all within the main compartment. Don't be fooled, it is a deep bag. I could even keep a bottle of water, and some snacks inside, if need be. Outside, in the front two pockets I have my wedding day emergency kits, all safely closed with magnetic snaps. The back flap that is open to neatly houses any programs or paper for the day, and the side pockets are great for the cell phone, if I need quick access, but really, anything moderately slim will fit there. Weight wise, this was quite a step up for me. I think I could have sufficed with the small and still had a heck of a ton of room up in there, but I knew I wanted to go bigger, so all in all, I'm fairly glad a did. I do have a complaint about the size of the across the body strap. It was made for long torso people & thus the silver adjustment piece rubs on my collar bone & the bag sits right on my bum. Also on occasion the over the shoulder straps get caught on pews & whip me back till I unhook them. Many times I carry the bag all day, only to come home to a small back ache, but it is incredibly professionally looking & the complements I have received on it, have been wonderful. There is no doubt that I am the photographer in charge on the wedding day, and that I am overly prepared. My only advice is, if you are small framed, short torso, or aren't used to hauling around weight, just buy the small, I bet you can make it work however you imagine it to. For the price, and the style, which I ended up loving, I can confidently say, this was the best professional bag for the money. I hope to post a video review, just because the reviews I have seen, are not as informative, as I would hope for future buyers. Just little things here & there that go unnoticed, so check back if you still haven't made up your mind! Happy shooting!

I absolutely LOVE this bag. I purchased a Jo-Tote which I returned due to poor quality. I also pre-ordered a Kelly Moore bag, but after borrowing my friend's KM bag and putting them side by side for a comparison, I cancelled my pre-order. This bag is heaven. It is real leather and good quality to boot (neither of the other two referenced camera purses were real leather). It fits a ton of stuff inside and I am perplexed as to why the manufacturer refers to it as "medium" size. Also, I am crazy about the extra padding inserts you can put around the camera or lenses (they are not just dividers), numerous exterior pockets, matching wallet inside and the padded shoulder strap love them all!

I am using it as my daily purse so I can have my babies (Canon 5Dm2, 50mm/1.2L & 35/1.4L) with me all the time and I am loving it. I can't recommend this purse/bag enough.

Also, I was seconds away from purchasing it directly from the manufacturer's website and could not believe Amazon had it for seventy less and free shipping. KUDOS to Amazon!

UPDATE: I've had my bag with me every day for 2 weeks and still love it!

Best Deals for Jill-e 769381 Camera Leather Bag Medium (Black)

This bag was a perfect upgrade for me. I can fit my DSLR, three moderately sized lenses and my two flash units as well as all my little accessories and do-dads.

Everything is easily accessible by the full top zip and it's easy to carry either with the smaller or larger straps which both fit on my shoulder. The longer strap is one of the most durable and comfortable I've ever seen.

I also love how it looks more like a travel case than a camera bag it will sure make me feel more comfortable traveling with my equipment knowing that I can fit all my valuables in this carry on size.

Honest reviews on Jill-e 769381 Camera Leather Bag Medium (Black)

I've been using the bad now for several months and really love it. I can fit all my gear in it and it's super easy to put things in/take things out during a session. It's stylish and feminine. Before this bag I had a backpack and this is definitely much easier to use.

It seems to be made well I carry a lot of stuff and the bag is holding up great!

This is a case if you want to take everything that you need for photography and then you can fit various other personal articles as well. The construction is top notch, but this case is advertised as having a locking mechanism. (I'm going to Honduras in October '04 and that was attractive). Also, since the large size of this case, you may want to purchase a smaller case for the lighter day trips.

I purchased this case for my wife's Canon 330 HS camera. The case holds the camera with room to spare. The extra zipper pocket is great for additional SD cards. Excellent value.
