I liked everything about this case, as mentioned in the other reviews. It fits my Panasonic Lumix DSC-ZS1 really well. However, after 2 and 1/2 months of almost daily use the fabric is ripping along a side seam. Given the case's cost I may buy another but I'll probably look at other brands. Also, it is not as well padded as other brands I've used for other cameras. I give it two stars because maybe it will hold up better if not used so intensely.

Considering the price, this is pretty good. My SX200 fits nicely into this bag. This is as compact as it can be, but it still aloows you to put a pare battery and memory cards.

At first, I bought the Mountainsmith Exposure II Camera Bag for my Canon PowerShot SX200 IS, but it was much too bulky and big to carry for long. So I bought the Zing case and only take it off my belt at night, it's so compact and comfortable to carry around. I like the pocket on the flap that allows me to carry an extra battery and a couple of SD cards. The construction is excellent, durable, strong and I like the velcro strap that holds it on my belt. The over flap closure makes it very quick to whip out the camera and grab a shot. If it ever wears out, and it shows no signs of doing that, I'll get another one just like it. Good buy, good value.

The case with an SX200IS camera inside fits comfortably in my pants pocket. A compartment inside the flap securely holds a spare battery (and a memory card if I needed one). There is also room for a lens/LCD cleaning cloth. It fastens easily to a belt.

I got this for my son, 6, who is using it to hold a Canon Powershot A480. The velcro strap can be completely undone to wrap around a belt loop (as well as a belt), there is plenty of room in the case for the camera, and a bit of extra room for a pair of batteries or a memory card. Fits the purpose very nicely.

I initially purchased the Kata OC-84, this case's older sibling that comes with the trolley, but when it arrived it was just too big for my usage. (The size of a large suitcase.)

This one holds just what I want for a shoot: Two DSLR camera bodies, two or three (smaller) lenses, and enough accessories for most assignments. If I brought the 100-400 zoom, though, it does take up a little less than half of the case. You are able to fashion the interior dividers to deal with just about any combination of gear.

The Kata people make body armor, too, and you can tell by the exterior of this product that it is meant to last. There is insulation that protects the interior temperature-wise as well. And when I had to check the case (not with valuable camera gear, only because I am more worried about theft), it came through without a single mark. While heavy when fully loaded, the included wide shoulder strap spreads the load to make carrying easier than one would expect. This bag comes with a 5-year warranty.

I have several bags from backpacks, sling, solo style for camera & lens only, to this Lovely Unit.

Backpacks are Ok while out on foot, but do not have the protection for daily thrashing about on daily chores.

I know when this bag is holding $7000 of camera gear that my worries or over.

The front panel snugly holds my $2500 15" Apple PowerBook just right.

The main cover holds all the small stuff from cables to large documents in easy to view access.

It is not a BackPack.

Mine starts out with the 1DsMkII and 3 lenses, 540 flash, video camera, G5 Canon for the flip out screen for the hard to get views.

I'm a photographer who'd been looking for ages for the perfect camera bag. My criteria: it had to be secure, padded, lightweight, not too big, and easy to get in and out of. I was having the hardest time finding one that wasn't huge on me. I'm a very petite 5'2" tall, and most camera bags even the "small" ones overwhelmed me. This pack has been perfect. The straps adjust so that the pack stays close to my body and above my waistline, allowing me to sit, bend, and jump without it getting in the way. The pack easily swings under my arm and in front of me where I can easily pull back the zippered flap and get to my gear. There are two bands of nylon webbing on one end of the bag where I snap my add-ons a Tamrac battery/CF card holder and my Expodisc. The zippered pocket on the front is large enough to hold a few things. On my shoot today, I put a Whibal card, Lenspen, small wallet, iPhone, and flashgun cable, and there was still some room to spare. The inside of the bag is surprisingly roomy. It's all padded with repositionable dividers. I can fit my 5DM2 with 24-70L attached (with lens hood inverted), 430EXII speedlight, Rogue Flashbender, and 50 1.4 in there with enough room to be able to remove things easily. The only thing that would make this bag better would be if it had straps or bungee cords on the bottom to allow me to carry a tripod or sweater easily. Overall, it's a great little bag, and perfect for those on-the-go shoots where I need quick access to my gear.

We ordered this item on a whim. I find that slings vs backpacks are more of a personal preference. We like backpacks since we only use one strap over one shoulder at a time. The sling is a completely different feel. We put our Nikon D3200 with the 18-200 lens, the 18-55 kit lens, batteries, charger, filters, and a pair of Nikon binoculars in the bag and found it a bit heavy and compressing on the chest. So, we tried slinging the strap over one shoulder. It doesn't feel as good as a backpack this way.....then again it's not designed to be used in this fashion. We resolved a little of the discomfort by removing the binoculars.

As for the function, this bag effectively stored all the items we have/need when going out and about. Wish it had one more pocket somewhere so that you could separate the filters from say the batteries. All in all, it's a quality built bag and have no doubt that it will protect our equipment.

A smaller camera bag suitable for the shorter, faster moving trips. Sits comfortably across the back but for shorter periods (5 hours would probably the max I'd use it regularly). Excellent build quality and a cool design. I'd go for the Kata 3N1's for longer trips or outings that require more bits and pieces. All-in-all, happy with my purchase.

Where the camera bag fits my Nikon D4 it doesn't have enough flexibility with the straps. The straps seem to get in the way. They give you extra straps, but give no picture or description of how to configure it differently.

Not only does this protect my SD780IS camera pretty well, but it also has an extra pocket that's great for keeping an extra battery and memory card. I've been using it for two months, and so far no seams and the zipper works great. Also, for those times when you want to carry your camera in your pocket but your pocket is already full with other stuff, the case can also work as a wallet (ie there's enough room in there for bills and three credit/ID cards along with the camera. This is the case listed on the box of our new Sony digital camera, but it actually didn't fit very well. It's slightly too tight when one slides the camera in, and the case is too long so there's a 1/2 inch of empty space on the end once the camera is inside. I think it's a carrying case designed to fit a multitude of cameras rather than one specific shape. If you're looking for a custom case that fits perfectly, skip this case. Mine's in the trash.

It is an elegant, nice and robust carrying case, I'm pleased with it. The only things that I don't like are the openings in the laterals, I would have prefered the case completely closed.

I bought this to use as a telescope eyepiece case. Hinges and latches seem to be very solid. The hinges hold the lid upright when opened. The locks on the latches are not really "locks". They will help keep the latches from accidentally opening while handling, but that is about it. They don't feel solid at all, but I bought this for safely storing/transporting my fragile eye pieces, not for security. The two layers of foam with pre-cut, tear out squares makes it easy to custom fit an opening for fragile items. It is a LOT cheaper than a similar "eyepiece case" from most any telescope manufacturer.

I'm an audio engineer who has to take different things to different houses for different gigs all the time, so I've taken to putting specific products into Vanguard cases for ease of transport. Thinking a little outside the box I bought this to store cards against humanity (and its 3 expansions).

I got the idea after I saw a friend use the same box to hold the Killer Bunnies card game (and several expansions). True, for the amount of cards available in Cards Against Humanity it's a little oversized, but that just means it has plenty of room for expansion. I would say this would work great for any game with cards of the same size (think Dominion perhaps?)

It's definitely overkill but you'll look like a bad ass bringing your card games to the table in this guy...

The case itself feels very solid and sturdy without weighing a ton. For what I bought it for though I needed the little foam squares to be uniform, and they really weren't. The lining is 3 sheets of pre-cut squares, and each sheet was offset from the rest, making it impossible to make an even opening all the way through all 3 layers. I had to use a knife to cut the openings to size, which left uneven pieces of the foam barely attached. I ended up having to glue the edges of each opening to firm them up.

Aside from the foam padding sheets the case is exactly what I was looking for.

We got the x-small for a Nikon CoolPix s3100. The camera fits tightly, but the zipper closes well. The materials look high quality and carefully made, and it is cute/nice looking.

However, the design is not that great. It has one additional external compartment that has velcro at the top, close and keep the contents in. However, if you have a memory card, the velcro is too low the velcro will overlap with the card, and you won't be able to "secure" the card in the compartment.I would also be a little nervous about storing the memory card without a case, as I'd be concerned about the velcro scratching the card connections. The fit is pretty tight, so it will rub with the velcro every time you get it in and out.

I doubt the external compartment is big enough to store an extra battery, or even two memory cards.

The belt attachment also opens/closes with velcro. I seldomly use a belt attachment, but I can't visualize the advantage of this, and it makes the case a little bulkier.

For the price, and features, I'd hands down choose the Lowepro Ridge 10. I own both. The Lowepro Ridge 10 is not as cool looking, but in my opinion, it has a much better design.

This is a perfect size for the Panasonic Lumix FZ28. I wear it on my belt and wanted a camera bag as small as possible. The camera & neck-strap just fits inside, and an extra battery fits in the side pocket.

I regret that the battery-charger does not fit as well, I will have to carry that separately. But I prefer the trade-off in size.

This fits right on my belt and is not at all bulky.

Was looking for a relatively compact case to fit my FZ28 and a couple of accessories. This seemed to fit the bill exactly but it turned out to be too good to be true. The side pockets on this case are deceiving. With the camera installed they become useless as the camera pushes on the walls and makes it difficult to put anything in them. A filter would break and even getting a SDHC card in or out is difficult. The case is good if you just want to carry the camera and don't plan on removing and replacing it numerous times as the top is a pain to deal with. This is as basic as it gets. Construction is good and materials are fine. Also, this case will not stand on it's own and must be layed on it's back when set down.

I bought this bag for my FZ28 due to the review by Thelma Meyer and indeed, it fits perfectly in! Just one additional tip for FZ28 owners: You can even fit the lens hood in this bag, if you turn it in the opposite direction than usual (around the lens, front towards the camera body). I did this and... lost my lens hood, when on a walk. (The bag is so light that it can easily turn 180 degrees, when it's empty.) But I found it again and also found the perfect solution: I added Velcro strips to two sides of the lens hood and to the two sides inside the camera bag. This way you can take the FZ28 out and still never loose the lens hood when you leave it off.

I bought this bag at same time I bought the Coolpix S3500. I bought the camera because it fits in my pocket and can be easily carried when I am out and about, unlike my Canon 60d. I chose this bag because it holds the camera and will fit in my pocket when the camera is in it.

The bag is not large enough to hold much more, so if you want to carry more than the camera, then look for a little larger bag. But if you want a sturdy, well made bag that will protect your camera and fit comfortably in your pocket or purse, this is a very good choice.

The measurements given by Amazon are wrong for this bag. Amazon says it is 7.2"x4.5"x1.5". They are not correct. The bag is smaller than that. Empty, the bag is 5"x3.5x7/8". With my camera inside, the measurements are 5"x3.5"x1.25"

You can see from the measurements there is not room for much else, the bag is pretty much at it's limit, I could probably fit an SD card in the case (without plastic case), and there is a pocket for it. But I don't expect to make use of it. I have an 8GB SD card in the camera, and that should be enough for photos and a few video clips. If not, I'll replace it with a 16GB SD card

As already indicated above, my highest priority in choosing this bag was being able to protect my camera when it is in my pocket. This small bag does that very well.

I looked all over Amazon, nobody can tell what bag is for the Canon EOS M with 22 mm lens.

By trial and error I found this at BestBuy

Now with this case I can have a DSLR quality camera with a fixed wide aperture lens in a tiny package to carry around at all times. Perfect.

The Olympus PEN E-PL5 with the Panasonic 20mm (pancake) lens is a nice small package, so wanted a similarly small pouch for more casual shooting. The Dashpoint 20 is just the right fit. I could probably squeeze a spare battery inside as well. (see the uploaded pic)

I looked high and low for the smallest belt pouch style bag I could find for my newly purchased NEX-3N with 16-50mm Power Zoom lens. Everything I either had (and I have a LOT of camera bags) was either too large or too small, or just bulky, due to the wrong shape for this camera. Well, the Dashpoint 20 is the PERFECT bag for someone who wants to carry their smaller Sony NEX APS-C sensor mirrorless camera as though it was a point-and-shoot. This way, in the warmer weather I don't have to drop my Sony in a coat or jacket pocket and have it bang around against everything I come into contact with. This nicely padded snug fitting case is just the ticket for belt carry, or attaching to a wide luggage or camera bag strap. Very versatile.

Just a note: Initially, the fit was too snug, but after realizing that the "hook-and-loop" strap attachment tabs on the back of the case were snugged up a big too much when purchased I merely relaxed the tension a bit and gained just enough room to easily slide the Sony into and out of this bag with ease. It is now as if custom made for my Sony NEX-3N!

*Just* fits the Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera with a single UV filter and lens cap installed, but the camera strap has to hang outside the case. If you have a lens hood, additional filters, or desire to put the neck strap inside the case get the Dashpoint 30. However, if you have bought a camera the size of the P7700, the bulk value of either case wipes out the ease of carry--which was the whole dad-gummed point. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a case made that is a non-bulky fit for it and the *!@# on the back for belt carry only adds to the problem.

Perfect fit for an EOS M with 22mm lens. No frills like extra pockets or weather cover, but that keeps it simple and smaller. Great materials and design. I usually go for black but I got the red one to find it in the bottom of a backpack and it looks great.
