I docked this a star for false advertising. It is NOT specifically for the Nikon Coolpix AW100, but the AW100 does fit. Barely. As in, shove it hard inside when you think it's in; it's a tight fit. I can store an extra battery in the outer pocket at least, and another SD card.

It comes packaged as 'Small Neoprene Sleeve Case' and 'fits most digital cameras and GPS'

As a whole it's a decent case, a little thin in the padding department (this is a rugged camera so I'm not too worried), and the wrist strap it comes with is not solid black, it's striped with grey lengthwise.

If you compare the AW100 side by side with this case, they're pretty close on the Amazon site, but in reality, it's not even close. This rooCase is a lot paler in real life, FYI.

Very poor fit and stitching on camera sleeve. Too tight to fit properly on camera. Sleeve is cheaply made and will probably just get discarded, not worth the trouble to return.

I purchased this Nanuk 945 case with padded dividers recently and was definitely impressed!

Being a professional photographer for over 10 years I own many other cases like Pelican, Lightware, Domke, etc...

The beauty of this case is the excellent build quality and the locking latches. While traveling, finding my pelican case open and exposed at the baggage claim because the latches popped open during flight was not a good thing.

The latches have a safety lock that needs to be pressed before opening the latch which solves the latch failure problem.

With the padded dividers I can fit my whole arsenal of medium format and dslr equipment in one case.

I had recently purchased an alienware m17x r3 laptop and needed a case large enough to fit my laptop, power brick, mouse + pad with enough room to spare for cushioning to protect my investment. After searching many hours I'd almost settled on a pelican case when I found this one. The tear away foam interior gave me the ability to customize the case for each of my parts so I could make it into exactly what I needed it to be. The latches are a positive lock and will not come undone unless you depress the release latches to open them. I also like the ability to lock it which I do. What I don't like is that there are only two holes on the top of the case for either locks or the shoulder straps but not both so I have to remove the lock(s) before I can attach the shoulder straps. I wish it had provisions for the shoulder straps while keeping the locks in place. If you've got a large laptop and need something that will carry all of your hardware in a protective shell then consider this unit.

Yep, I think the case is OK, Not as good side walls as a pelican, but the latches are somewhat better.

The cubed foam is junk, it's poorly cubed, if you can even call it cubed, more like pierced in a random pattern. It's almost impossible to cut into the shape that I need, even with a razor blade.

I did save a few bucks over the pelican, but it was not worth it.

This case just feels cheep, and I don't really want to carry anything real important, but it may be good to store stuff.

Also, I made the mistake of reading all the "I love it Reviews"

Next time I will stick with the "It's OK" reviews as they tend to be more honest.

When I need to carry my sensitive equipment from job to job, this case fits the bill. The equipments varies in size from as small as a AA battery to a 10" color LCD. With the "Pick-n-Pull" cubed foam, I was able to layout and organize everything exactly as needed. The foam is pre-stamped in 1/2" squares that are easy to separate with a knife or scissors but stay tight together if left untouched. If you only need a few cases laid out the same, this is a great alternative to the custom cut foam jobs.

This item was purchased to fit my Alienware M17x R3 and protect it from the love, or lack of, from aircraft baggage handlers and the harsh environments I fequent in interesting airframes around the world. Well my Alienware certainly fits and then some! So I also have my Sony MDR-1RBT headphones, Alienware mouse, all cables and surgprotector all snugly held in place with the customisable foam, which works a treat once you work it out. Also can slip my iPad in and its cables! Total weight is 11.6 kg fully loaded and the catches on the latches are a nice touch in order to stop accidental opening of the latches. There is also the automatic air pressure relief valve. An excellent buy for the price and looks good to!

I used this case to carry my Nikon D90 for 6 months. One day the plastic ring holding the strap to the case broke suddenly, without warning, as I was walking down the sidewalk. The camera fell out of the case and hit the sidewalk, resulting in over $300 worth of damage. When I contacted Zeikos about the faulty product, they gave me a curt reply offering to replace the case. They did not apologize or take responsibility for the extensive damage to my camera. At first, I was looking for a cute camera bag in which I could carry all my equipment without calling too much attention to my camera and stuff, but all the ones that I liked were $90 or more! I know that my equipment is very expensive, and of course I want to have the best storage possible so that it is save and sound whenever I carry it around; but I just think the prices for camera bags are absurd.

Anyway, I decided to buy a handbag and this case and use them together. I couldn't have made a better decision! This case fits perfectly inside the handbag I got, and it almost looks like those fancy, overpriced camera bags. The great thing is that I can also stick it inside a backpack or any other handbag that I'd like. It has a top so I can close it, that way, everything is safe if I decide to stick it in a backpack with other stuff; or it can also be removed completely if I want faster access.

I haven't tried its waterproof capabilities yet, but I sure don't plan on being near water with it... like ever. It comes with 2 adjustable velcro tabs, which sometimes can be a pain to adjust, but I think that's just me.

The delivery was extremely fast! I was told it was going to take 5-6 weeks to arrive; it only took a week!

I definitely recommend this product. I know it's not going to protect my equipment from 6-feet falls, but it will sure protect it from bumps here and there, dust, and all those little things that could damage it.

have used the case for close to a year now. it has held up close to perfectly, only difference is the leather has worn on the surface a bit, actually it has a nice shine to it like a good wallet gets from use. bought additional cases, as other cameras (canon sx260/280, lumix zs30, etc.) fit in the case nicely too.

there is a newer sc100 case which is very similar, differences being that the inside suede is black on the sc100 and beige with the sc90 and the rounded side on the sc100 is the bottom, opposite the snap side, whereas the sc90 has its rounded side on one of the long sides. i prefer the style of the sc90 slightly more as you can stand the camera case the two different ways, though the sc100 has a white color option, for those who don't want a black case. both sc90 and sc100 are made in vietnam

I own a digital capture company so buying cases for my cameras and lenes is crutial, expecailly when traveling. I recently purchaes the Nanuk 940 as well as a smaller Nanuk. I have only great things to say. It is durable, affordable and easy to open. Latches on most of these type of cases are very difficult to undo. The Nanuck is incredible easy. I have designed the foam inserts to my liking and all my equipment fits snug. I am very confident while traveling with this case. It can withstand anything.

I have been using the Nanuk 940 case for a few months now. My work takes me all over the globe. I have been using this case for my portable light system. The case is great! It's light weight, very professional looking and has a nice tight seal. The locking clips are very nice. I do own two pelican cases and have never had a problem with the locking clips, but I do find the locking clips on the Nanuk 940 easier to use.

I think that Nanuk could improve the lock stack and lock system. I have no problem buying or recommending any of Nanuk cases.

OK.....I know what you are thinking but let me tell you, this case is just great!

I have also used the other guys case's for many years and seriously no huge complaints, other than the occasional hurt finger. That aside they have done the job just fine. That being said I recently got a Nanuk 940 with dividers and I have never been happier. Number one this case is lighter for sure and the divider system is far superior...Just seems easier to manage. Also, the latches are super simple to open and close (no more hurt fingers) and the cases just look better. If you are looking for a better-looking case, which is lighter and easier to use, I highly recommend Nanuk.

I recently got booked for a photo shoot in the Amazon (HA), anyways I needed several cases to put my equipment in which would withstand not only potential water issues but extreme heat and potential hard handling. I ordered one at first since I have never seen these cases before but was lucky enough to stumble upon them while searching the net. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up at my front door. The case itself is very good looking and built very well. I love the latch system, a huge improvement from the other cases I have been using for many years.

I can't tell you how many times I have had to fumble with the other guy's latches and ended up missing my magic shot because of it! The foam insert was easy to customize and the idea of an auto pressure release is just genius. Especially when getting on and off the plane several times.

I almost feel bad writing this but don't know what else to do. I ordered the 940 case at the 2013 PDN Photo Show in NYC because the product was great, price seemed to be great as well. Since I could not haul the case around NYC all day, I decided to have the case shipped. When it arrived, it was the wrong color and had the wrong insert. I had ordered the dividers and not the foam.... after multiple emails to the company, they have not responded. Not once.

So why this is a great product, beware of the company and make sure you get what you order.

I'm 'downsizing' in digital cameras, and bought an Olympus SZ-14 24X Zoom recently. (NOTE: same camera as the SZ-12, but with a metal body instead of plastic, so this review applies to either model.) I needed a case, of course, but one not too large, which would defeat the purpose of owning a smaller-sized camera. I tried the "Case Logic DCB-302 Compact Camera Case (Magenta)" from Amazon first; my camera BARELY fit in it it's kind of a struggle to get it in each time, though I end up with a very small case+camera package once the zipper is closed. However, since I travel internationally a lot, and hike in the Rockies, I was concerned this tight-fitting case wouldn't protect my camera from the inevitable bumps n' bangs which occur. I started searching for a SLIGHTLY roomier case, and discovered this little goody. My camera fits nicely in the front compartment in both orientations (horizontally, or vertically with thicker side 'down'), though vertically allows for slightly easier zipper closing. The back compartment is roomy enough for memory cards, 1-2 spare charged-up batteries, lens cleaning cloth, and more definitely more functional and useful than the very small, thin pocket on the front of the Case Logic case. The VanGoddy can be carried 4 different ways: strap adjusted for hanging from shoulder or from arm, handle on top to carry in hand, and a small loop on the back which is too small to put on a belt, but large enough for a carabiner, which in turn I hook into a belt loop on my jeans (the case+camera is lightweight enough to hang this way without pulling down my pants!). I liked the color choices I try to have all my electronics' cases/covers in red or similar color so they're easy to spot in a day bag, and helps prevent them from being accidentally left on a table or chair or bus seat. Great case for my purpose!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have been using the Thule Perspektiv messenger bag as a camera bag for my Nikon Coolpix 8700 (with a lens hood that makes the camera about the size of a DSLR) and a bunch of accessories, as well as a commuter bag after removing the camera insert. While the Perspektiv has many thoughtful and useful features, a critical part of the bag has a serious design and construction flaw.

After using the bag just a few times in undemanding conditions and under partial loads, it has become clear that the squeeze clip anchor patches on the front flap of the bag are weak and unreliable. This is because the anchor patches have a two-part design. The bottom half of each patch is sewn to the bag flap. But the top half is then glued to the bottom half to create the loop that holds the female part of the squeeze clip. One of the anchor patches on my bag has already become unglued! What a strange and disappointing design decision on a camera bag that is otherwise well constructed.

Thule should have sewn the entire anchor patch to the flap, through both halves of the patch, rather than relying on glue to hold the halves together.

Bottom line: if not for the poorly made anchor patches, the Perspektiv camera messenger bag could easily rate four or even five stars. The protective insert is nicely padded and fully featured, all the zippers and Velcro closures are intelligently placed, and the strap and shoulder pad are comfortable. I'm deducting only two stars because the anchor patch flaw probably won't result in a catastrophic event, such as damage to a camera body or lens; however, it is not the kind of problem I expect to encounter on a Thule product or want to worry about when I'm using the bag. So, 3 stars.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I admit I've finally given up having THE perfect bag and instead have 3-4 that I commonly use for a variety of situations. I have camera bags that I use for transporting my gear, hiking, city walks and family events. Each holds the type of equipment that I'd likely want to have handy for that type of event. I was looking at this bag as one I would take when out on the Town or doing some photos at my daughter's school.

I liked the style of the bag and it was comfortable to have across my body worn against my back. The bag is quite large, but is really only meant to hold 1 camera body with lens and two additional lenses/flashes. I managed to put in a 5D Mark II with 100-400mm lens (and attached 1.4x extender), 16-35mm and 85mm. I also had 2 extra batteries and a few memory cards in the front pocket. Everything fit comfortably (I was able to squeeze a 50mm lens in as well, thought it wasn't put in quite securely) and was comfortable to carry. The strap is sewn to the bag and comfortable, however carrying it on one shoulder is not comfortable it makes it feel like everything will tip out, though the use of Velcro and clips made it more me a little more confident. There was additionally enough room to also carry a 15" laptop.

The interior is a yellow that makes it pretty easy to look to see what you have in the bag, the protective padding for the camera is actually an insert for the bag and can be removed to use the bag for something else (overnight trip). This bag seemed similar to several of the Crumpler bags that I had tried previously. With the Crumpler bags I liked the shoulder strap better, however I felt the bags were much too heavy empty which made them a no go for my use. Overall, I like this bag better than the Crumpler bags, however not being able to comfortably carry the bag on one shoulder worry free was a definite negative.

I will definitely have occasions where this bag gets used, however it won't be the top of my list for museum use (a bit too large), though family events and my daughter's school would be a good use for this bag (especially when I need my laptop or iPad as well). As with all camera bags you've got to try it to determine if it really works for you.

I feel confidant that the camera is protected in this bag and I love how the teal interior makes everything so easy to see. The bag is two separate pieces; the outside messenger bag with built in laptop pocket, and the inner camera holding bag. The inner bag has it's own top and zipper so you could remove this part and put it into a different bag (if you could think of some reason why you might want to). We use a laptop for storing and viewing our digital pictures and when we travel we bring the laptop and the camera and this bag is GREAT for that. We can use the extra space in the camera bag to carry the laptop charger, some CD's for sharing photos with our families, etc.

Although this bag has a comfortable cross-body strap and a small stabilizing waist strap, this is not something we would ever bring on a day trip. Probably this would be excellent for a professional photographer to bring to a job, that's just not us.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I got this bag for my husband, who works as a computer programmer by day and a photographer nights and weekends. It seemed like a brilliant idea at the time to give him one bag he could use for both occupations, but not so great when the product showed up.

By day, he carries an iPad and occasionally other accoutrement. It's a fail as a messenger bag. Most messenger bags are light and quick to maneuver. This bag's too big and heavy for the iPad and does not tout having anti-static interior fabric for it or a laptop. It's big and bulky and not particularly suitable for storage in most office cubes, either.

When he attempted to load his DSLR, he discovered the poor stitching beneath the handles. I could see where the stitches were loose and could quite easily give way with the weight of an expensive DSLR. While there is room for the DSLR and a couple of lenses, there's little room for the other items he carries in his camera bag.

Potentially, the bag could be used as an overnight bag for a quick trip or maybe carry-on for a flight. As both a messenger bag and a camera bag it fails to meet my husband's needs.

The shoulder strap is extremely comfortable.

The inside main section is quite roomy.

The insert is bright blue (as opposed to the typical black) making it easy to find small photographic items that are typically black.

There is a zipper that allows access to the main compartment without lifting the flap. It even has a very nice ring pull that makes it easy to hold on to and open. That is handy when you want to remove something without revealing the contents of your bag to everyone around you by lifting the flap. (more on that later)

Now, the not-so-good stuff:

There is no way to hook additional items to the outside of this bag. For example, my "go-to" daily messenger bag is a Tenba 638-235 Large Engraveable Messenger Bag. It has fittings on the outside where I can hang holders for additional lenses, a water bottle, or a travel mug.

Remember that comfortable strap and convenient top zipper? When the bag with this permanently attached strap is designed to be carried "messenger bag style" which is across your back. That makes it possible for a bad person to use the easily accessed zipper to open your bag and remove things.

The inside, while roomy, can really only accommodate your camera with attached lens plus two additional items (two lenses or one lens and one flash).

There is little accommodation for accessories and what there is could have been better though out. If you like having small compartments to hold different things look elsewhere. I also found it interesting that the flap with pockets to hold memory cards (primarily SD cards) folds down. While it's unlikely that the cards would slip out it still seems a bit silly to do things this way.

Speaking of flaps, the main flap of the bag is held quite securely in place with lots of Velcro (in addition to a pair of locking clasps. That's great until I want to open it and then I get lots of that ripping sound when Velcro is pulled apart. Other bags I have, such as my Think Tank Retrospective 7 Tall Shoulder Bag have the ability to block some or all of the Velcro if I choose.

Bought this on May 24, 2010 and since then, it's been my bag of choice for all around street photography.

I use the Main Bag Compartment for my EF 85mm F/1.8, ef 70-200mm lens hood on the bottom and my Canon Rebel XS with Tamron 17-50mm attached on top, a 430 ex II on the front packet calling cards, pens and notepad and since it has two additional lens cases, I can use one for my EF 70-200mm F/4 IS USM and and the other one for a bunch of stuff like air blower, filters, extension tubes, filters, radio flash triggers, brush and cloths.

The best thing I like about this bag is the fact that I can insert my Canon Rebel XS with Battery Grip and a 70-200mm F/4 IS USM attached including a lens hood, with no problem. I used like a holster.

I highly recommend this bag if you do long walks with your gear. I have not had any problems with it.

It's now August 2012, and it's still my favorite bag. I have upgraded my gear since I first got this bag, now I have a Canon 40D, and 60D bodies, with grip and it fits perfectly on this bag, most of the time I used the main bag compartment to carry a body with grip and a EF 70-200mm with hood in position ready to shoot. I recently bought a Lowepro Top Loader PRO 75 AW, but despite having superior quality and better material and construction, I was disappointed with it. The bag of the lowepro outback 200 can accomodate more gear than the Top loader pro 75 AW. The Top Loader pro 75 aw has smaller and shorter compartments, A body with a 70-200mm lens with hood in ready position won't fit, I need to reverse it. I prefer the hood of the 70-200mm always in ready position and not in reverse, so this bag for me is much better than the Top loader pro 75, if using the 70-200mm or a lens like the 180mm macro with hood in ready positioned.

I like this bag for when I am carrying a long lens on the body. My Nikon 24-70 fits in it WITH the hood no problem. If I know that I am going to be walking a lot, and I can get away with limiting what I carry, I take this bag. I would say, you can fit a body with a large lens in the main compartment, use one of the side tubes for one big zoom or two primes (if you padding in between) and the other tube for a flash and a few other smaller accessories you need. The bottom of the main compartment may still have some room depending on the size of your lens. But that's a hard area to access quickly because of the way you will have to arrange the Velcro padding for the lens. So you can put less frequently needed items there perhaps remote flash triggers and such.

The shoulder strap is long and it is made to go across your chest. I found it very comfortable to use. The belt takes most of the weight "off" by distributing it really well and the shoulder strap just helps. The bag is easy to swing around from the back to the front of your body without removing the shoulder strap or losening the belt.

As another reviewer mentioned, there are side straps that go around the side lens tubes and these are looped into the belt. So if you leave that as is, when you tighten the belt, you squeeze those lens tubes. I don't loop that strap through the ring on the belt now. The straps are still usefull tightening down and securing the lens tubes and they don't interfere with the belt at all.

On the negative side,

I took one star off because the belt and the back support could have used more padding and better build such as a few other Lowe belt packs. I also think that the top zipper should have been a larger size to open and close a bit easier especially with one hand. Again is not the best zipper that Lowe implemented. I am not sure why. Also it does not have the signature Lowe all weather cover that pops out from the bottom. Again, I don't know why.

Bottom line, it is a great bag, for long hours of walking and standing. It really keeps the center of the weight of the camera and lenses close to your body. This at the end makes it less tiring also it makes it easier to take the camera in an out. Because the bag is attached to your waist, you can run, kneel down, squat down or even sit down without the bag swinging around, bumping into things etc. I would definitely recommend this over an equally sized shoulder bag any day of the week. Best Deals for Lowepro Outback 200 Camera Beltpack (Black)

I have owned the LowePro Outback 200 Camera Beltpack for about 6 weeks and in addition to using the pack for local hiking/photography, I have most recently returned from a week-long trip to the Eastern Sierra. During this trip, I did extensive hiking using the Outback 200, usually carrying the following equipment:

Canon 70-200mm F2.8 L Zoom lens

Canon 100mm F2.8 Macro lens

Canon 20mm F2.8 lens

Canon 7D body

Cokin filter systemusually 4 filters, adapters for lenses, etc.

plus assorted other items (remote control release, lens cleaning cloth, batteries, memory cards, etc.)

The pack was relatively comfortable with this load and MUCH easier to use in the field. By slightly loosening the waist belt, I could easily pivot the pack to my front, where I could quickly remove my camera and lens from the pack. The diagonal shoulder strap helps support the weight of the load during this maneuver. More importantly, if I wanted to change lenses or add special filters (ND Grad or polarizer), I could easily do this with little fumbling or worry about dropping equipment on the ground. I had previously used a camera backpack and this always required removing the backpack, finding a suitable spot to lay it down, unzipping the appropriate compartment and getting the camera set up. Sometimes my wife could assist with this operation, by asking her to extricate the lens I needed, while the pack remained on my back, and help me with the lens exchange.

I usually keep my camera in the Outback pack while hiking, as I find this more comfortable than carrying the camera around my neck. It also keeps the camera and lens less dusty and more protected.

Another positive feature of the Outback over a backpack, is the lower center of gravity of the hip-pack design affords over the backpack. This is useful during sketchy stream crossings on narrow logs or rocks. Also, I find that wearing a backpack very hot, resulting in my shirt-back getting completely soaked with sweat. The Outback was much cooler than a backpack.

The Outback has many loops for securing jackets or other apparel that one may want to shed during a long day of hiking.

One improvement that I could recommend for the Outback is the external zipped pocket is somewhat shallow. An electronic flash can easily fit but not much else. If it were about 1/2" to 3/4" deeper, it would be more useful.

All in all, a very well-designed product, which meets my needs effectively. While it does not hold all the gear that can fit in my backpack, it is quite useful and more comfortable for my purposes (hiking around while shooting pictures).

This bag is huge. When strapped to your hip, it will stretch 16 inches and nearly reach your knees. As other reviewers have pointed out, this will store just about as many lenses as you want to carry while hiking, and if you have extra space, the side compartments fit a bottle of water quite nicely (though there are probably more cost effective ways of doing this). The shoulder strap definitely helps distribute the weight better, and makes wearing this bag much more comfortable when it's full.

I would recommend this bag if you want to concurrently carry:

-a battery pack

-several large telephoto lenses

-an extra body or point and shoot

-a flash or other accessories

It will fit.

Just received it today .. very pleased with it so far. It appears to be well constructed no obvious flaws with the material, stitching, or the snaps. It fits around the sx50 perfectly too. I was concerned that it would be more of a "generic" design, but it does have somewhat of a "custom molded" fit. The leather is fairly firm, not exactly 'thick', but not paper-thin flimsy either. Somewhere in-between the thickness of a belt and a wallet. The color is a rich looking chocolate brown ... much nicer in person than pictured. Looks more expensive than it was! It comes with a leather camera strap too. That also appears well-made and matches the case perfectly. This is not a "dust-free" case though, in that there are gaps (roughly 1"x2") on the sides to allow for the strap, so there will be an opening. It should offer minimal protection from scratches and dings if the camera is banged around, but it's unlikely to protect it from a significant fall. Overall, it's a nice case, compliments the camera, and offers some peace of mind if you don't want to lug around a full-size, padded bag all the time. If it holds up and lasts for a while, I'll be more than happy with it.

This case fits perfectly and protects your camera against the bumps of carrying your camera around. As noted in other reviews this is not dust or water proof since it has slots for the strap to go through. However it will protect your camera and your lens from everyday bumps and scratches. It has a metal screw that holds the bottom onto the camera by screwing into the tripod mount. This screw is threaded as well so you can still use the tripod with this case attached. You will need to remove this case to swap batteries and cards. Also depending on the design of your tripod mount you may not be able to keep it attached to the case because there is a snap to hold the top portion of the cover onto the bottom portion. These are all minor niggles since this case is priced right for a form fitting well designed everyday carry case for your sx50. The snaps are solid and hold the case together very well. The leather is a very firm top grain leather that is study enough to protect from minor drops and scratches. The lower portion of the case makes the camera feel better because it covers the grip which makes it larger. But I have large hands and I like the extra bulk, YMMV.

Improvements that could be made?:

move the lower snap away from the tripod mount screw so I can keep my mount attached and still attach the top of the case.

It comes with 2 pieces, one attaches to the camera body and can stay on permanently if you like. The cover wraps around the lens and snaps on and off very easy. This brown camera case was all that I hoped for. It's handsome, extremely well made of high quality leather, fits and protects the camera perfectly, removes quickly and easily when needed. Because the case is in two pieces, the top half can be partially or totally removed to, giving access to all the camera features except the battery/memory card compartment. I would agree with all the positive things other reviewers have said about this case, and disagree with all the negative comments. For those who considered the case too bulky or hard to deal with, I suspect they are the younger set who never knew what camera cases were like in their prime, in the '50s and '60s. Then cases were high quality, sturdy leather that were not only handsome but functional and very protective of the camera. Today one can find mostly only fabric or plastic or some other inferior material case that never really fits the camera well. So, I like the nostalgic look and feel and character of this case as well makes one look like an old pro. All this at an astoundingly low price for such a high quality item. Don't find that much these days. I'd recommend this case to anyone who demands high quality and excellent functionality at an excellent price.

Pros protects camera!

Cons bulky and awkward

Uses we travel ALOT to many countries and throw our camera in a bag with little protection. We purchased this to give our camera a little more protection. I am happy we did! It may seem cumbersome and overkill, but if you travel and get in strange situations where you don't want to worry about your camera breaking this is a good buy.

At first the case seemed stiff, after a month it is now conforming nicely. I would imagine in a year the leather will be broken in perfectly! The quality of this product is high.

I would buy again.
