Love everything about the bag except for how the main dividers are velcro where you have to pull to get the camera out. It is not that big of a deal i just have to make sure I hold the velcro spots so it doesn't come apart. Other than that it is great. Perfect amount of storage, well laid out, and comfortable. Tenba Discovery Large Photo/Laptop Daypack Review
I bought this for my husband who is just starting a hobby in photography. It holds his camera, lenses and a lot of other equipment he might need for a photo shoot. It is very light weight but seems quite sturdy. He says it is very comfortable and easy to carry.

1. The hard shell seems sufficiently protective, and the inner lining seems sufficiently soft.
2. The case fits my Z2300, but rather snugly.
3. This snugness, while secure, means I don't feel confident storing anything else in the case. I would have liked to be able to keep a pack of paper and an extra memory card in there. As it is, I'm not confident the paper won't get bent.
All-in-all, adequate, but not stellar.

This holster/bag is a perfect fit for the new generation of small (but not pocket) digital cameras. I have a Sony DSC-HX1 and was looking for just a simple belt loop holster type when I didn't need to carry anything more than maybe a memory card. Though, I would really like a true holster like those found at , I couldn't justify the $200-300 prices. This bag appears to be well made with a soft yellow no-scratch interior. A nice added feature is having a rain cover included that I didn't know about. If the size is right for you, it's a good choice. By the way, my Sony is H 3.4 X W 4.6 X Depth 3.6. Even with the lens cover and neck strap, it fits snugly without a fuss.

Buy AmazonBasics Medium DSLR Gadget Bag (Orange interior)
Unfortunately I have to give it a 3 star. The size was what I was looking for and for the price I was happy with how it looked. The downside was the front buckle slipped out of the strap and did not stay attached. There is no zipper or any kind of a top cover other than where the buckle closes in the front. So if that doesn't keep snapped while you are walking and holding the top, all my gear could have potentially fallen out on the concrete. I would definitely recommend whoever gets this, to take a close look at their buckle and do a self sew job as a reinforcement.
I'm waiting for delivery of an 18-55mm kit lens to add, but once that's in (and there's still plenty of room for it), this bag now contains:
Canon T2i camera (gripped)
55-250mm zoom lens
7 or 8 SD Memory Cards
7 batteries
Shutter cable release
portable battery charger
And in the compartment for the tablet (Kindle Fire in this case), David Bush's Field Guide to the Canon T2i.
This is going to be the perfect place for her to store all of her equipment and keep it safe and sound, and dust free. It's also a perfect (and inexpensive) day bag.
The bag and extra lens are going to be a surprise, so shhhhhh... please don't tell her. We'll just blame it all on Santa.

I got this bag for my recently purchased DSLR, and it works perfectly. It's small enough to not get in the way, but it's large enough to fit the camera, the lens (maybe even two, but I only have one), and all the little accessories that come with it (cords, chargers, memory cards, manual, etc.). There are two dividers on the inside that are attached to the bag with velcro, so you can adjust them to make sure your camera and lens are snugly protected.
