This is the perfect travel bag for the serious photographer who has multiple lenses and other paraphernalia to bring along on a trip. The ability to zip off the frame and carry as a backpack is a great option! You can check the frame at the gate on smaller aircraft and still carry on the backpack without having to trust your valuable equipment to the baggage handlers.

The Lowe Pro Roller x200 Camera Bag is a very good bag, handling two cameras and about six lenses with flash unit an charger. Also can hold a lap top up to 17" but I would be more inclined to take a smaller size lap top for weight and possibly a less tight fit. There is more protection for the camera gear than the lap top. Also, it wasn't hard to get the bag to go into back pack mode, that was just to unzip a zipper. The problem is, of going back into the roller case is tough! It's a tight squeeze linning up the two zippers, since the roller case isn't that pliable. Also, there is no padding for the backpack straps as with regular Lowe Pro Camera Bags. Other than that, a good bag to get you on the plane & to your hopefully non hiking destination.

I got this to replace a Tenba carry-on size case. The Tenba had thicker and more overbuilt dividers and zippers. This one on the other hand is just more useful. Laptop pouch is fine for hauling around, but puts the laptop near the outside of the case and more susceptible to bump damage. If you don't use the laptop portion though, it is a very solid case with room for a week or longer photo trip worth of stuff (4 lenses, 2 bodies, 2 flashes) The screw socket in the handle of the case is a great emergency tripod, or more likely an extra mount location for a remote flash! The kickstand is nice, but not horribly stable. There are more pockets in the Tenba, but this case will fit in all airline overhead bins, while the Tenba had trouble on some (MD-80) bins. The backpack portion of the case is removable. It's there if you need it, but frankly I would not want to haul gear using the backpack for long. If you really need to haul it on your back, a dedicated photo backpack will do a more comfortable job.

UPDATE 3/11: A feature I didn't think was all that important turned out to be very valuable. A fright I had was on regional jet (CRJ900) which has smaller than normal overhead compartments. The option to check a bad with thousands of $ of lenses and cameras was not one I wanted to take. So I simply removed the soft inner backpack portion from the hard shell and was able to fit it in an overhead bin. I was going to check the bag itself, but since almost everyone checked their carryon already, there was plenty of room in the overhead bins, and amazingly the hard outer shell ALSO fit in the overhead bin. Both bag parts just barely squeezed in so the backpack in the hard case configuration would not have fit, but separated they did. As a result not only did I have my camera gear with me in carry-on, but I also got to not wait for my checked carryon unlike most people on the flight.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Pro Roller x200 Camera Bag (Black)

I just LOVE this bag! It's designed so well, as is most ALL Lowepro stuff. The rolling action is so smooth. The compartments are perfect for my two bodies, two flashes, 70-200, 24-70, 10-20 & 100 lenses, remote triggers, and many other little accessories. I already consistently use almost every feature on this bag including the cable lock, TSA combo lock, every compartment and accessory pouch, the angled foot, tripod holder on side, in-handle flash mount, you name it. This bag is a must for any location or traveling photog with multiple bodies, flashes and lenses. What a great investment. Thanks again, Lowepro.

One word...perfect! I'd been lugging my gear around in multiple shoulder bags for a year now. Never could remember what was in what bag. I realized I needed to have a a rolling cart but couldn't see paying a few hundred dollars for it. But, finally broke down and purchased it and I should not have waited so long. The bag is well constructed...take that back, it is a professionally constructed piece of gear. Well thought out, easily customized, and holds a ton of gear actually glad I didn't get the bigger bag since fully loaded this one is just right and any more weight you really should consider not taking that much stuff! I used it a month ago to shoot a 30-year reunion. Rolled in, found the D.J., parked the bag in this area so he could watch it and spent the night shooting and coming back for battery changes, lens swaps, etc. End of night packed it all up and rolled home! So, even if you don't intend on using this for airplane travel, it's a great setup just for around-town shoots. Everything is there, throw it in the trunk and you're good to go. As I said, why did I wait so long....

This is a great little bag for shooting expeditions around town. I am able to store my Canon Xsi with 55-250 attached, and carry the kit lens as well (by slightly adjusting the compartment designed for the small flash), along with an extra battery, memory cards etc. Having the belt loops on the back gives a third way to carry the bag. An added bonus with the loops: I discovered that I can hook one leg of my tripod through the belt loops, and now have a small, lightweight shoulder bag that carries everything I need.

Playing with time-lapse apps I needed some easy convenient way to hold my iPhone 5 ... somehow tripping on the Joby GripTight (the phone holder part) I found that some resellers offered what appeared to be the holder combined with a small tripod stand calling the "kit" the "GripTight Micro Stand." While, oddly, I could not find documented anywhere exactly which tripod stand was being offered (or even IF offered separately), I guessed it had to be either the Joby GorillaPod 250 or the GorillaPod 800. While guessing it must be the smaller GorillaPod 250, I posted the question to Joby's Facebook page (with no published phone number, one of the recommended ways they suggest for support). I received an almost immediate response confirming my guess that it was indeed the GorillaPod 250 that was offered in a kit with the GripTight. There are two real benefits to this. First while each part sells for ~$20, combined they sell for ~$30 or ~33% off! Second and equally important this confirmed that while the kit did not identify the stand itself, it was indeed the Gorilla Micro Stand 250 so that not only would the GripStand Micro Stand kit separate into 2 pieces that could be used separately, the stand WAS the GorillaPod 250 that can be used with anything with a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount (e.g., compact cameras).

Based on their Facebook response and knowing the quality of the GorillaPod Focus I already owned, I ordered the "kit" sight unseen. After ordering (online) but before receiving I had the opportunity to talk to the Joby distributor at a recent local camera show. Interestingly he was adamant that there was no "kit" combining the GripTight and Micro stand only a "kit" combining the GripTight and the GorillaPod Stand (the flex leg tripod). He guessed that it was the resellers themselves combining the 2 separate items. Equally interesting is that the GripTight Micro Stand "kit" is not listed on Joby's website. So when I received my online order in the mail, I found that the (high quality) Joby box indeed contained 2 items the GripTight and the Gorilla Micro Stand 250 (though never identified as such). The Joby box itself is labeled "Joby GripTight Micro Stand" and a tiny little sticker near the UPC on the back of the box (an afterthought?) reads: "JB01255-BWW JM2-01WW.

With all that said, I was EXTREMELY impressed by both the GripStand and the Micro Stand. Both parts are very well made (in China) and look to be VERY high quality. Attached together via their 14-20" mounts, both parts fold to no more than ~ 3 1/4" x 1 1/16" x 3/4. The all-metal stand's legs (said to be made of zinc-aluminum alloy with tips covered in silicon) fold to almost nothing and unfold very smoothly. The stand's 1/4-20 connection is also metal (said to be aluminum) and has some degree of rotation (said to be 36 degrees) like a tiny ball mount. The plastic Micro Stand also folds to almost nothing and also appears to be very durable and high quality. Spring loaded it easily and solidly grips my iPhone 5 (in its bumper case). The box states it will hold phones (or anything) between 54-72mm (2.1-2.8") wide. The foldout arms look like they would grip phones up to ~ 1/2" wide.

While Joby can certainly improve their confusing documentation and marketing, overall I found the "kit" to be a solid high-quality accessory and an ideal solution when a tripod-type mount is needed for holding a phone (or again a compact camera as the Micro Stand can be used alone). I'll also note that when folded there are no sharp edges so it can easily be put in a pocket without any scratching or irritation. Lastly, as an aside, I'll note while there are MANY apps for timelapse, I've been very impressed with OSnap!

The micro stand is well built. The unit is very compact when all folded up. It easily fits into a normal sized pocket. The rubber grips on the ends on the legs provide a good amount of grip for whatever surface it's placed upon. The mounting mechanism works well and folds away easily for storage. It's nice to be able to remove the legs from the mounting mechanism so that the mount can be used on a regular tripod. No complaints.

This Joby JM2 is a 2 piece hardware the grip itself (with a standard tripod mount hole) and the Joby Micro 250 tripod (Grey Color) that support up to 250gr weight.

I bought this for my Lumia 920 (70.8mm wide and weight 185gr), which I personally think the largest device that this grip can hold comfortably.

Lumia 920 was never mentioned anywhere in the compatibility list (only mentioned Most windows Phone) but considering the dimension is around the size of S3 and the specs that mentioned 72mm maximum width, I took the plunge.

The first time I tried the grip, it didn't hold the phone properly as I tried to avoid the grip location to be near any of the buttons.

(I located the grip between the power button and camera button, this makes the cellphone heavy on left side).

Was pretty disappointed until I realize that the gap on the U shape of the grip is the perfect gap to fit the power button of Lumia 920.

With that in mind, the grip able to hold the cellphone almost perfectly on the center, making it super balance even on the maximum angle that the tripod allow for taking pictures and as a stand.

In this position the bar behind the stand have enough gap to the 26mm lens on 920 and does not interfere with the camera at all.

Well worth the money to buy this grip and Micro tripod combo. My journey to find the right stand / table mount for my phone ended here. That's it.

Sure this is quite a lot of money for a small device really this device material most likely cost 2.5$ in manufacturing (I know this from dealing with a lot of china made product),

but you got to consider it's design and construction build, save yourself some $ and get this rather than buying multiple cheap and flimsy stand that barely work on specific devices.

There's definitely room for improvement, like making it with triple rod or rectangular rod so the grip didn't flex as much and maybe suplying a small compatible keychain ring

(fyi, it does have a hole for adding keychain).

Lastly, one tips I have from my experience, make sure you secure the tripod to the grip with COIN, it make a huge difference when you're trying to pivot the tripod when trying to take a picture.

Honest reviews on Joby JM2-01WW GripTight Micro Stand (Black)

Wooooooow. Someone done read my mind. Most companies designing stands for the iphone like this focus specifically on the iphone, and while that's fine, there aren't enough companies making more agnostic stands. What makes this stand great is that i use the lifeproof case and it still fits, but no matter what case u use, it should fit this unit just fine.

Even better, it is designed with a camera screw hole for tripods, so if u have a simple small tripod stand this works just fine. I love that.

This particular unit comes bundled with a very spce efficient triod that works really well if what u want is landscap mode, and while i like how the tripod folds up small, i wish the screw platform could turn 90degrees so u could have the iphone or ipod or other device in portrait mode. The gorilla is another tripod but is a bit too big, other tableto tripods are bigger, so if if i can find a tripod that is nearly as compact as the one this comes bundles with but where the platform turns 90 degrees to allow for portrait mode, i would highly recommend it, especially as there are many apps that don't have a landscape mode. Of course, yet another possible innovation would be to make this unit stretch long enough that u can clip the top and bottom of the phone rather than just the sides to compensate for the tripods that don't hav, a turning platform.

Either way, i'm satisfied with this unit enough that i rushed out and bought a second one. Thanks again to Joby. Great design.

I purchased this product for use with a Galaxy S4. I used it daily and was very pleased with it. However, after only a few months of use, the bottom clamp broke. I have contacted the seller, who was not very helpful, but since it is still under warranty I will return it to Joby.

I think the problem is the size of the Galaxy S4. I did not use have the phone in a case when using this stand, but even without a case the S4 is quite a bit wider than an iPhone. If you are considering this for heavy use with any of the larger Android phones, I would suggest trying the Square Jellyfish tripod instead (also sold on Amazon).

Review of High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon

High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon with attached lenses up through 14-45mm zoom
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

In my 40 years of amateur photography, this is my first experience with a neoprene flexible case. I find it a great addition to the heavier hardshell leather cases and large camera kit bags that I also use with my micro 4/3 camera equipment.

First, I should clarify what type camera this bag fits: The Amazon ad correctly states in the "Technical Details" section of the ad that it fits the Panasonic Lumix GF1 with my 14-42mm zoom lens, my 14-45mm zoom lens, and my 20mm "pancake" lens. (I believe it will also fit the Gf2 and upcoming GF3, which are slightly smaller than the FG1.) However, the Amazon ad states incorrectly in the top title and elsewhere in the ad that it fits the DMC-G3 / DMC-GH2 / DMC-G2. I tried to fit my DMC-G2 and DMC-GH1 camera bodies (without lens) into this bag, and those camera bodies were too large. I hope the ad will be corrected to say GF1/GF2/GF3 with attached lenses up through the size of the 14-45mm zoom.

Now, back to the bag, itself. It appears extremely well made, and likely to hold up to regular use. The seams are well stitched and there are no sloppy or excess cuttings. There is a convenient external zip pocket for extra memory cards and other tiny items. Another reviewer found that it was not easy getting the camera in and out of the case. I found it took only a few seconds to remove the camera, and a few seconds longer to reinsert... comparable to other cases I've used over the years.

The case's main opening uses 2 snaps, rather than velcro, and I prefer the snaps. There is a sufficient small gap on the sides to pass through a camera strap, attached to your camera, to carry the enclosed camera on your shoulder. The case is extremely lightweight, and appears to offer at least limited water resistance, if not waterproof. The neoprene cushioning is not thick, but it is dense, and provides a decent first line of defense against dust, dirt, nicks, scratches, and light bumps. It is not so thick as to protect against drops on a cement floor.

This is not an "everready"-style case that would allow you to snap off a top half to quickly take photos, while a bottom half remains screwed into a tripod mount. This is a storage case from which you remove the camera to take photos. The case has a narrow belt loop that opens via velcro; a tag warns that this belt loop is meant only for storing the case while you are holding and shooting the camera... the belt loop is not strong enough to support carrying the camera in the case attached to your trouser belt.

I should mention that I find this to be an attractive case I'm happy to be seen with, given the dark gray color and quality of construction. In conclusion, the extreme lightness and "first line of defense" protectiveness of this case will make it my main carry-along case for walking about with my Panasonic Lumix GF1.

The case isn't a tight fit around my camera, it would be better if it were. Overall it's a great price for a case for my Panasonic GF3 with 14-42mm lens.

Best Deals for High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon

The product delivered as advertised. My GF1 with 55mm lens fit snugly inside the neoprene case. The material and workmanship are both great. All in all, I've no complaints and am very satisfied.

Honest reviews on High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon

I recently purchased this case to hold my Lumix DMC-GF3 with a 42mm lens. I was glad to happen upon this case because there are not many inexpensive cases available for micro four-thirds (mirrorless) cameras like the GF3. The majority of the options that will accommodate the larger lens are quite pricey. This case seems ideal for giving the camera some minor protection, especially if you plan to carry the camera inside of a daypack or purse. For me, it is a real advantage that the case doesn't add much bulk or additional weight. If you take the camera out of its case, the flexible case would easily fold up.

The GF3 with the 42mm lens fits comfortably inside and it's not a super snug fit.

That being said, this case has its limits. For example, compared to other "heavy duty" camera bags, it's possible that dirt or water could seep into the bag. There aren't a lot of built in pouches (which is fine for my purposes), but it would not be the best option if you plan to carry additional memory cards or power cords.

One thing to note is that the case itself does not have a strap. To carry it with a strap, you need to use the neck strap attached to the camera itself. There is a velcro "belt strap" on the case itself, but it feels sort of chinzy and I don't think I'd be comfortable using that.

I have GF3 with a 14-45 and a 45-200 lens. It fits well, somewhat loosely, with the 14-45mm lens on it, but does a great job of protecting it with that lens. Where it is really awesome is with the 45-200mm lens though. It is a tight squeeze, but the snaps close securely with the lens and lens cap on and it fits like a glove. That was a pleasent surprise for my wife and I. We had been looking for another Neoprene case to protect with the 200mm lens and this one actually stretches perfectly (not to the point of tearing a seam though) around the camera and lens.

The materials are great quality for the price, and the seams seem well sewn. Doesn't seem to be a cheap piece of junk. The belt loop could be a little stronger though and the snaps could be metal instead of plastic, but for the price it's more than we expected. If you want metal snaps and better belt loop, spend more money. If you want cheap protection for your GF series camera go with this one it fits great.

This case came up as a recommendation when I ordered the H10 camera so I ordered it. It DOES NOT fit that camera, it is too small. I was leaving on a trip so I had to go out and buy another one from a local camera shop. So I have this one that I can't use. I didn't save the packaging so it isn't worth the time and trouble to try and send back. I'll never trust the recommended accessories on Amazon again.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This bag is Case Logic's Medium size Cross-Body Bag. This is not a small bag. It is a really roomy medium sized bag that almost feels like a large bag. I really like it, but there are a few catches with it that won't make it the right bag for every DSLR owner.

This bag is a nice gray color. It has tons of great features that make it a versatile bag. On the front there's a small diagonal zipper perfect for putting your lens cap in when not in use. There's a horizontal zipper where you could easily put papers or a tablet that you needed quick access to. If you open the flap, there's a zippered area with three pockets and another zippered area, where you can store small things you don't want rolling around. The most important part of this bag is the main storage area. There are two zippers that pull back to open up this area. You can open it up while it's on your shoulder. My husband and I were very impressed with the design of this compartment and it makes it a very appealing bag for students, actually. When you open it up, the main compartment opens wide with a rectangle opening on top. Most bags just have a slit and you have to reach in and hunt around for what you want. The one trick I found is closing the bag back up while the bag is on you. On my bag, the zippers are a little cranky to close. But, if you grasp the end of the zipper (placing your thumb between the zipper and the fabric below it) with one hand to make it straight and not kinked, and then pull the zipper with your other hand, the zipper will close easily. I found that if the bag was sitting on a table, the zippers closed more easily.

Inside the main compartment is a removable padded camera pod case. The pod has a draw string opening on the top that can be folded back. There is enough room alongside the pod to fit snacks, a water bottle, or another lens (stored in a bag like one of these Bundle Monster 4pc. Padded Neoprene Compact DSLR Camera Lens / Lense Protector Pouch Bag Kit For Canon, Nikon, Etc. The bag is very spacious, which you can't tell very well from the pictures. You can also fit a lap top inside the main compartment.

The strap is very comfortable to wear and the bag sits comfortably on my hip. I can quickly and easily adjust the length of the strap.

Why this bag is not for everyone...

I have a Canon T3i. It's not a full-frame DSLR, so my camera body is smaller. I keep my 60mm macro prime lens on it almost all the time, because I love this particular lens and prefer it to zoom lenses. I have an auxiliary flash and other lenses that I can take a long. This bag will fit my camera with my 60mm lens on it, but not with my zoom on it. It will fit my zoom on the side though, as an extra lens. I was pleased and surprised that my flash, zoom lens, and camera with prime lens could all fit in the pod. There is one extra piece of padding in the middle of the pod that separates the camera body from the lens and flash. It is removable. If it was removed, there is a possibility you could put a full frame DSLR in here, but I don't have one to test out.

For someone who's looking for a camera bag with a lot of storage that's very comfortable to wear, this is a great choice. It's versatile and has the ability to hold a lot of extra gadgets. An ipod, tablet, laptop, plus a DSLR. If I were a student, this would be an amazing bag-just remove the camera pod. I love the way it looks and feels. Because of the opening, it would be so much easier than other bags to fish out books and other materials.

For me, someone who's hobby is photography, this is a great bag. It carries everything I want and more--which gives me room to grow. An extra battery, battery charger, extra lens, tour book, book to read, ipod, cell phone, flash, extra memory card, flash diffuser... I can fit all of these things and more. My only reason to give it 4 stars is having to fiddle with the zippers and wishing that the pod was a little bigger. I do hope to upgrade someday to a full frame camera, but we'll see. I wish I could have given it 4 and a half stars. My only misgivings about it are the zippers on the main compartment that I mentioned and that I think the pod would be a little small for a full frame DSLR. For now, this is a great bag for my camera equipment!

Added note: I was told by a photography store salesman once that most photographers have many bags for many purposes. He also explained that you may not realize how well a bag fits you until after you've tried others. That is the case with this bag for me. I also now have a Thule messenger bag. I can see how this bag is a much better fit for my needs. It is the right size for me, a woman. It isn't too large for me to manage. The opening really is nice and makes it easy to access my gear. Because of these reasons, I upped my rating to 5 stars from 4, which I originally gave this bag.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a really interestingly designed bag, but I think it misses the mark for its advertised purpose. Your SLR is supposed to fit in a smaller bag-within-a-bag to facilitate popping the camera in and out without a lot of bother. The camera pouch doesn't fit well in the bag, so it slides around. A Canon T-4i with a battery grip and 18-135mm lens barely fits. I can't see much utility as a grab and go camera accessory. However, take the camera pouch out and you have a pretty nifty messenger bag. I'm seriously thinking about using it the next time I travel sans camera.

I have several camera bags by Case Logic and this one is pretty well built as usual. The bag's bottom is rubberized which should help if you put it on wet surfaces, and there are a couple nice extra zippered pockets and flaps. The main flap had snaps rather than Velcro or clips. I find it too much trouble to try and use the snaps.

I am also worried about the main compartment zipper. It is a struggle to get it to zip and it's still new. I am worried that it will break rather quickly. as a messenger bag I'd give it a "4" or a "5", but as a camera bag I could only give it a "2".

Best Deals for Case Logic FLXM-102 Reflexion DSLR with iPad Medium Cross Body Bag

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Note:

This bag has broader uses than it is ostensibly designed for.

Like most air travelers, I do not feel secure with packing my electronic gear in a piece of checked luggage. Over the years, the things I generally bring along on trips and vacations has grown a bit as have the number of their accessories. Proportionately, the need for a larger and larger was to carry them on a plane with has grown to the point where I have been using a rather substantial back-pack to perform this function. That backpack held everything but not in a cleanly packed way and was difficult for me, as a 66 year old fellow, to put on and off. I didn't think much about alternatives until trying this Medium Cross Body Bag from Case Logic.

This case is firmly and well insulated and carries, most easily, as a shoulder bag (though it also sports a top-handle briefcase-style handle. The main compartment is designed to contain a separate DLS pouch that contains the camera as well as two extended lenses. The camera pouch takes up about ¾ of the main compartment. This leaves plenty of room for a camcorder, a smaller digital camera and even a pair of binoculars. There is an open slot/pouch within the main compartment that comfortably holds an iPad (or any other tablet up to 12" wide.)

The outside of the bag has three additional zippered compartments, one with three inner pouches of its own, allowing for plenty of space for cables, batteries, chargers and other accessories. There are also two external mesh side pockets for quick access small needs (lens cleaner, cell phone, commonly used filters, etc.) For a case of its size, it's thoughtful design accommodates a great deal of equipment that its simple external appearance would suggest.

To my delight, it takes up about half the space in the overhead than the backpack did, is far easier to carry around and provides firmer protection for my valuable gear.

At times, I travel with a non-DSL digital camera. This one fits in its own case within this Case Logic Cross Body Bag and creates the space for even more things a second iPad, a small Bluetooth speaker for the iPhone/iPad, a small folding tri-pod and a second set of binoculars. Just because a case is designed for one specific set of purposes, its use is not contained by the intent or by the advertising.

Solidly built of first class materials (no loose threads or imperfect seams to be found) and with what feels like just the right amount of insulation and protective cushioning, this Case Logic bag really does the trick for me. It is NOT inexpensive but, as most of us have come to realize, there are times when we actually do get what we pay for. I recommend it to anyone with needs similar to my own.

Honest reviews on Case Logic FLXM-102 Reflexion DSLR with iPad Medium Cross Body Bag

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I already have the Case Logic DCB-304 High/Fixed Zoom Camera Case (Black) that I bought with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 12.1 MP Digital Camera with CMOS Sensor and 24x Optical Zoom Black here on Amazon. The camera *barely* fits into the DCB-304 (although it does fit and I use it), so I was looking for something a little bigger when I want to carry other accessories like a flash unit, charger, etc. This FLXM-102 bag fits that bill nicely. It is well-designed to allow you to carry multiple gadgets with you either as a airplane carry-on or road trip or hiking. You can fit many 'flat' items into its multiple zippered and open pockets, like an iPad, phone, e-Reader, even a laptop. Even with the camera and a lens in its separate cinch-top padded holder, there is still some room inside the bag for filters, flash, batteries, etc. There are some stretchy pockets on the outside to carry something in a bottle. I think this bag would be perfect for people who frequently travel and need to bring their electronic items in a stylish, versatile bag.

There are just a couple things I think could make it better: there are no clips or loops to attach a tripod. A way to carry this on your back would be nice for those who hike or cannot use a shoulder strap. The camera bag inside the larger bag could use some velcro or a strap to hold it in place. The bottom of the bag is rubberized material, which is nice, but I think a stiffer or harder material would offer better protection.

(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM) Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Case Logic FLXM-102 Reflexion DSLR with iPad Medium Cross Body Bag (Anthracite) is a bag designed to fit many needs: you can carry your DSLR, iPad and Netbook or Ultrabook all in one package. There are additional pockets and compartments to hold your mobile phone, MP3 player and tons of other extras. The downside is that if you really use this bag to hold all that stuff at once, it can get pretty cramped.

PROS:

++ Wide-mouth reinforced opening makes it easy to get your stuff in and out

++ Attractive clean appearance is superior to that of most DSLR bags

++ Padded, removable DSLR pouch easily fits a medium-sized setup and extra lenses

++ Separate area for an Ultrabook, Netbook or tablet inside the main compartment

++ Dedicated front compartments can hold other electronics and accessories

++ Rubberized base provides protection and stability

++ Padded shoulder strap for comfort

++ Fabric handle for holding briefcase style

++ Plenty of extra interior compartments

++ Durable and attractive synthetic material

++ Two external mesh pockets for water bottles

++ Bonus lens cloth included

++ Ergonomic zipper pulls attached to metal zipper heads

++ Includes a 25 year limited warranty

CONS:

-Bag is too small to fully use all compartments at once

-No feet or grips on the base

-A thicker rubber base would have been better

-Plastic loops for the shoulder strap are less durable than metal

-No rain hood for the DSLR pouch is included

-Laptop compartment is in the main compartment (a separate zippered area would have been better)

-Compartment is too small for all but the thinnest ultrabooks and netbooks

-Comes at a premium compared to alternatives

CONCLUSION

This is a good bag to consider if you want the flexibility of sometimes using the DSLR pouch and sometimes using this as a messenger bag. Because of the tight interior design, it's not really ideal as a dedicated DSLR bag. But it's definitely worth considering depending on your needs.

After dropping my 2-day old camera in a live well, my son felt I needed a little more than a cheap cloth case. This case is heavy-duty and I don't think a truck running over it could crush it. Love the pull out foam so you can customize the case to your camera, batteries, extra cards, and other things you want to keep safe & watertight. Only thing that keeps it from getting a 5 with me is that it's a little heavy and won't fit in my purse. But other than that. It's a great case.

If it's valuable. You want quick access and still know your equipment is safe, this is for you. Photo equipment went down the white water river without a trace of damage or water leakage. Great price performer!

Great product, actually picked this up to store my survival gear and keep it protected. It fits the bill! Bright yellow to make it easy to find in case of emergencies. 4/5 Because of the price....although the price dropped 12 dollars on amazon a couple of weeks after I bought it, and now they wont even match their own prices (as of Sept. 2008). The foam is very easy to use and conform to any shape of your choosing.

Great price for an excellent product. I use it for my D5000 with the 18/55 lense, a 55/200 and my small nikon fisheye. It's tight but everything fits.

The 1300 is a solid, well dimensioned Pelican case. Its width and height are compact yet it's very deep (a major plus). As with all Pelican cases it's virtually indestructible. The one draw back in this particular model (or my particular example) is the very loud pop of the latches when both opening and closing the case. I guess it is what it is. The latches are double jointed which do indeed seem extra secure. The Desert Tan color is much better in person than in photos; it's more of a khaki rather than a grotesque flesh color. The "pick-n-pluck foam "is divided into two stacking pieces which makes it versatile for storing both tall and short objects easily. Solid case and with typical tough Pelican quality.

I purchased this bag as a gift for my phographer girlfriend. She couln't have been happier. The features are perfect and obviously desined for use by someone who takes their profession or hobby seriously. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a substantial, user-friendly bag that is likely to be used for years.

This is a great pack unfortunately the order arrived incomplete, containing the pack but not the accessory kit. Tried to resolve the issue with Cameta and rather than revolve the issue electronically they require a printed form to be faxed (which I don't have a scanner/fax machine) or snail mailed. Kind of ridiculous that somebody who is willing to take your money electronically won't process their customer service requests the same way. This product is not just cheap, but also amazing. I was kind of hesitate to order this product since its not a Sony original but I decided to order it ad try it out. And I fell in love with it every since. It fits the camera perfect and the little side pockets are awesome and very useful too. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this for my Sony DSC-HX300. It doesn't really fit. I can make it fit if I really cram it in there, but the zipper is very difficult to close because it really has to stretch. I think the zipper would probably wear out or come unraveled fairly soon because of this. I also have a strap on my camera; trying to put the camera in with the strap attached is close to impossible and it's so scrunched up I'm concerned it will scratch the screen.

In addition, I worry about the power button on the camera accidentally getting pressed from the camera pressing against the case so much. It could definitely damage the camera if this happened because the zoom lens would come out.

The camera is unbalanced in the bag. The bag does have a strap included (not shown in the picture online), but if you hold the bag with the camera in it by the strap, it tilts backwards almost 90 degrees. So the camera would fall out if you didn't get it fully zipped. I will be returning this.

It accomplishes its purpose to protect the camera and the fit was perfect. It is light and the price is right.

Honest reviews on MegaGear ''Ultra Light'' Camera Case Bag for Sony DSC-HX300, Sony

This camera bag had no reviews, so I just went for it. Well guess what, it was a perfect fit for my DSCHX300, which is not a DSLR, it is a long zoom point n shoot. So it fits in the bag very tight n snug. Well, mind you, there's nothing else you can fit there. As I said, perfectly tight!

You can't be wearing the bag with the proper adjustment of the strap, otherwise it is very difficult to "sling" the bag to your front.

I had to loosen the strap until it's almost at my butt to be able to "sling" comfortably.

The clip design is so-so. Wish they had designed the openings of the bags better. It's also awkward to access anything other than from the top.

In the end, I returned it and went back to my old shoulder bag.

I bought this bag in a lightning deal and for the price it was a good investment. I've been using it for about a month and it is very convenient to take with me to job sites or where ever. The camera compartment is plenty large for my DSLR and I have no problems with the bag sitting too low or anything.

That being said I do have a couple issues with the bag that I didn't notice from the pictures. First is that the bag sits over my right shoulder which feels awkward since every other sling style bag I've used has sat on my left side. The other thing that I do not like is there isn't a quick release on the strap so puttin the bag on or taking it off is a little more difficult than it should be.

Overall I would recomend this bag but had I known those two issues that I stated above, I probably would have gone with a different bag.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have the blue pouch. I think it is nice for limited audience; if you have a compact camera, and want compact case with no strap, and don't require masculine color scheme then this is the pouch for you.

On the plus side if you have a device that fits in this pouch then it is sleek enough to probably still fit in your pocket without too much extra bulk with respect to pouch thickness, pouch strap, etc.

I have put my family's Fujifilm XP Shock digital camera in this pouch and it fits fine. The corners of the pouch have started to discolor a bit after one month. A bit pricey at $15, better value below $10.

Always good to have various pouches to protect your valuables. This fits the bill in some situations, 3 stars.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program OK little camera pouch. We use it to hold our Canon Powershot and it fits just fine. The case is not that padded and has no real rigidity so it won't likely protect it from a serious drop. Definitely will keep scratches off the exterior of the camera and may help with those little slips. The opening is a double zipper. I prefer a flip opening that makes it quicker and easier to get the camera out in a hurry. There is no strap on the case so we let the strap that is on the camera hang out. It would be nice if there was a way to easily and neatly tether the camera strap to the case and camera to keep them together so they won't get lost. Unfortunately, there really isn't a good way to do it with this case. It is nice that the case is stain proof but, I wouldn't consider it anymore water or even splash proof then any other case. It is a decent case that is small, lightweight, and fashionable, with emphasis on the "fashionable". I think that is really the most compelling reason to purchase this case. As far as function, there are better options.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My kids have gotten the Geocaching "Bug", so we got a Flip MinoHD Camcorder 2nd Generation to record some of our adventures, (& boy are there some!) as you NEVER know where the coordinates are going to take you, through streams under waterfalls etc!! This was just the ticket, it fit perfectly albeit a bit snug, It's compact easy to get it out of in a flash & it says it is water resistant! The description says it's neoprene offers water and stain resistance while providing the padding, I really liked that it had the wrist strap, that way we don't have to dig through our backpack for it! Our Flips Dimensions are: 2 x 0.7 x 3.9 inches in case you wanted to compare with your camera/camcorder. It met our needs perfectly! The boys like it because it doesn't look "girly" & we girls like it because it is pretty! IMO :)

Honest reviews on Acme Made Smart Little Pouch (Blue Gingham)

I love the quality matte finish and design of this case, which makes it much more than just a boring black case. It was actually smaller and slimmer than I expected, even after noting the dimensions of the product. My Nikon Coolpix S3300 fits very well in it.

I did a search on amazon to locate a case for my camera, the Samsung wb150f. This case was appealing due to the color and semi hard case protection.. However when I received it, I discovered my camera does not fit this case. I looked it back up and discovered that it fits many Samsung models, just not mine. I'm not sure why this pulled up when I did my search, but ultimately my fault for not double checking before purchasing. It would cost me more to return it due to shipping and handling than what I already a paid for it.

The case arrived much earlier than promised and in perfect shape. The case fits the camera perfectly and is ideal for holstering the camera on the belt. An excellent feature is the double zippering that allows to open the case in one stroke by pulling the connecting lace between the zippers. With the zippers open the camera can remain secured very well by the top velcro flap; this way the camera can be removed from the case very fast not to miss quick photo opportunities. Another good feature in the inner pocket that is very convenient for extra memory sticks, etc. We are very satisfied with the purchase and would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. : )
