The case is well made. The clip arrangement is clunky and bulky. I took off the clip. I could not really see how it could be useful.

I did make a lanyard out of para cord and attached it to the clip holder. The camera fits well and The interior has a nice finish to protect the camera. Zipper is good and the case opens completely. Nice for getting at extra battery and usb cord.

When we bought our camera it came with a camera bag that was too tiny. It only fit the camera itself, no accessories. This bag fits the camera well on one side and you can open the other side and to store all of your accesories. I was able to get the wall charger, an extra battery, a mini tripod, extra sd cards, and a cleaning kit in this and I STILL have room to sprare. All that room and I don't feel like the bag is too big when I am carrying it. Also, the shoulder strap is well padded. A good choice!

The description says that the Eva Case comes with a lanyard to wear around your neck or shoulder -but there is no lanyard with the case I received. Did anyone else get a lanyard with it? The case is also bulkier than I expected.

The case is very nice in appearance and functionality, but unfortunately it does not provide a great fit for certain cameras. The case is much larger than I had expected and my Canon SD1000 does not fit snugly in the case as I had hoped. Do not expect to be able to carry this case in your pocket as you would the camera by itself. I must say that I am fairly disappointed by the case's size but at least it provides good protection for the camera.

We have a couple of these Gepe Extreme CardSafes and they work great. We use both CF and SD cards and it's great since you can actually stack an SD card AND a CF card in one slot without problems (you can carry 4 CF cards and 4 SD cards in one CardSafe).

They're a little on the thicker side vs. some other cases but the fact that once you secure the case, that it's protected against the elements (or even when dropped in water), it's worth it.

I currently own 3 Gepe Card Safes for use with various cameras over the years. I first started using them in 2006 based on the recommendation of a friend. I am still using my original purchase and every one since. I doubt the quantity of cards I carry will grow any larger so it seems unlikely I would need to buy any more cases for a long time. I can't recommend this product enough. Absolutely fantastic product that has survived hiking, biking, travel, the beach, the mountains, deep winter, and kids. Still going strong.

Years ago while working as an assistant and a digital tech, I've used almost every single kind of CF card holder imaginable; from bargain bin items as well as top of the line brand name items. To be honest, these are the best, and I'm very happy I got one myself. They hold cards snug, which is crucial to keeping them safe, but they don't feel like their going to kill you trying to get the cards out (which after enough uses will become a little bit more manageable.) The clasp, too, stays snug over a long period of time and I personally have never seen one break. It also feels like a pelican case – sturdy enough to be crushed by a truck ( but I wouldn't test it.)

This thing is slightly bulky but in return you get a safe and secure card carrier for a lot of cards. It floats too!

Built in belt loop, there is also a detachable shoulder strap. The material in real life looks much better than the picture shows. I just wish it had a wrist strap (although I figured out I could leave my wrist strap from my camera out from the top of the case with the zippers on either side and so far no issues).

I purchased one of these cases for a Casio Exilim (EX-Z1200) that I purchased at the same time.

That camera fits this case *perfectly*, so my review may be a bit biased because of that :)

In my opinion, this is a great little case. The padding provided is just the right amount that, the one time I dropped my camera, my heart didn't sink. (No surprise, the camera was fine.)

However, the padding does make the camera a bit larger than it normally would be approximately 1.5 cm. But, while this makes it a little larger for front and rear pockets, I've had no problem putting this in pockets in the legs of shorts, nor in my various coats' inner pockets.

I haven't used the 'shoulder strap' so I can't make any calls about it. However, it's a bit too thin for my tastes. The material is very well built I've been lugging it in coat/short pockets, and various bags, since February '08, and it still looks like it did when I purchased it.

All-in-all, if your camera will fit, I'd highly recommend this case.

I bought this case to protect a Canon SD800. The camera is about 1 mm thicker than the internal dimensions of the case, but the elastic sides stretch to hold the camera snuggly in place. The magnetic clasp is much quicker and quieter than fiddling with a zipper or velcro. The external suede feels nice and grippy, and the internal lining will not scratch your camera. All in all a great fit!

Recently it became time to upgrade my cell phone. Choices like that usually take some reasonable consideration, but there was no question that the Tamrac 3582 Express Case 2 in black was the perfect choice to protect my new investment. This is an ultra-suede case in a vertical design that holds and protects my BlackBerry Curve 8330 perfectly, as if it was made expressly for this phone.

The closed-cell foam padding protects the phone, and its elastic sides seem to provide a perfect custom fit for the BlackBerry, yet its gray liner allows the phone to be removed smoothly. The magnetic snap closure provides for security, yet is easy to open. The belt loop is quite useful. It came with a thin removable shoulder strap, but I've not had occasion to use it.

This is not my first experience with a Tamrac case used for a cell phone. A couple of years ago I purchased and subsequently reviewed the smaller Tamrac 3573 Express Phone Case for the phone that I had at the time. That case remained in service until I recently upgraded my phone, as noted here. Have also been a highly pleased owner of a Tamrac 3536 Express 6 Camera Bag, also in black, and this new Express Case 2 matches it quite well.

Should also note that I tried this case with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 12MP Digital Camera and found it to be a perfect fit for that camera as well, making this case truly multipurpose. And for those who might prefer a different color than black, Tamrac offers others to pick from, such as these:

I bought this case on the recommendation of a friend when I was looking for something to carry my new BlackBerry in. I just wanted something to protect it while it was in my bag.

I was very pleasantly surpised by this case! I have long been a fan of Tamrac products so I decided to give this one a try.

It is the perfect size for my phone and fits easily into my purse. It is a case that has no bells and whistles but is made of suede and has a good madnet for it's closure. It comes with a strap that for wearing around the neck (which I haven't used) and has a belt loop on the back for wearing on a belt.

I am planning to purchase another one of these for my new Fuji Finepix Z30 as it also fits perfectly in this bag.

Great product from a great company. Really does the job.

Just received my order and was sorely disappointed: my first reaction was that it was made of really cheap materials. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of stiff cardboard underneath the rubber-like fabric and zippers that make up the design. Since the item WAS inexpensive, I wasn't too upset about this. However, the zippers on my case were so ill-made and poorly designed that they made the case virtually unusable. Basically, the zippers zip open fine, but when closing, the zipper catches on the zipper lining. For this reason, it takes a lot of strength (and determination) to close the case, and when I get it closed, I notice that it's ripped up a lot of the fabric near the zipper. While I can struggle with the zipper now, I wouldn't be surprised if the zipper broke after a short time of use. [I've since noticed that the zipper moves smoother now that the lining is a torn, thereby removing whatever it was catching on.]

When I contacted the vendor Bargaincell for a refund due to defective product (I assume my case is defective since others have left positive reviews), they responded quickly once, but took a few days to actually give me an RMA # (which you need in order to get a refund).

I would just warn anyone considering purchasing this item that while you might get a perfectly working product, you might also get a defective unusable one. Just keep this in mind when making your decision. I walked into a Radioshack today and was surprised to find better designed camera cases for less than $10 (although they did not have hard shells like this one), so I really regret purchasing this one since it's turned out to be a lot more trouble than it's worth.

As a side note, I'm also including the measurements of the case's CAMERA COMPARTMENT (not the overall size), since there's been a lot of talk about camera fit:

H 4.5" x W 2.75" x D 1.125"

(My Canon Powershot SD800 IS -measuring at H 3.5" x W 2.25" x D 1" -fits fairly well in it with a little spare room.)

I don't get the reviews that object to the size of the case, it is slightly larger than the camera, but to provide protection doesn't it need to be? Update, I liked it so much I purchased another one (different color) for my Kodak ZX1 video camera, Room for the camera, extra sd chips and a couple of AA batteries. Of course the price can't be beat.

Before buying this I tried the Adventure 74, which is just slightly smaller and slightly less expensive. Ultimately I returned that and upgraded to this, the Adventure 75. Besides the size, there are two major improvements with this model. 1) There is a drawstring over the zipper for the main compartment. This helps keep water out if you get caught in the rain. 2) This has two accessory pockets inside the main compartment and the Adventure 74 only has one. With two compartments, you can keep bigger, bulkier items (like batteries) separate from more fragile items (like filters, lens cleaning paper, etc.). To be honest, I didn't really need the extra room in the 75, but having these two features made it worth the extra cost for the upgrade. Besides, now I have room to upgrade!

I use this backpack for outdoor photography, and I must say that it is solid. I was so impressed with Tamrac that I just ordered the Tamrac 5613 camera bag to haul and store all my gear for bigger / more formal events. That is the only drawback to the backpack, space can be limited once you start adding lenses and a second camera (but then I started asking myself why would i want to carry so much equipment on my back on a hiking trip anyway?)
