This case leaves nothing to be desired. Its design and finish are at least as good as the concerned Sony case. It is hard to imagine a reason why you would not get this case.

As described, the case fits perfectly the sony RX1 and protects it from minor bumps and scratches.

The only drawback is that you have to remove completely the case (by unscrewing the big screw under the camera) to reach the battery or the SD card.

I'm carrying two digital camera bodies, a 70x200mm 2.8 zoom (which is BIG), a 100-300mm 5.6 zoom, a 28-105mm, a 2x extender, a battery grip, a flash attachment, four extra batteries, a dozen CF cards, and some other small accessories and it all fits. For my purposes, this is the perfect fit to carry everything I need for a day's shoot without feeling like I've overpacked.

I bought this bag for a trip to Alaska. I wanted to be able to carry a large lens, a camera body with a medium-sized lens attached, a tripod, and various other items (SD cards, etc.). I was not disappointed in this bag's ability to do all that. It's a solidly manufactured backpack-style bag with shoulder, sternum and waist straps. I'm easily bothered by shoulder straps dragging on me, but the waist cinch and sternum strap were so well placed that I didn't even know I had it on. My gear traveled safely from Southern California to Alaska and back again (as carry-on luggage only). For what it holds, this bag seems tiny.

That said, I have a few minor negatives: I found myself dragging straps along the ground when I chose to carry the bag by it's handle at the airport. The waist cinch and excess shoulder straps did not have any sort of system for keeping them from hanging down. Some of Tamrac's bags have zip-up outer coverings that can be used to contain all the straps; this is not one of them. There is a small cord with a locking slider on the top of the bag that is always getting caught in the zipper when I try to close the main compartment. Annoying.

All in all, this is a great bag, and I have no hesitation in giving it 4 stars.

This is my second bag from Tamrac. I've only also had Canon bags and so that's my reference point.

I like these bags I find that they're better crafted, more padded and have better features like sealed pockets for things that need to stay dust free and small individual pockets for memory cards. I like the little straps and things to attach extra pouches or just to hang things onto.

This bag easily holds my Digital Rebel Xti (with attached battery grip) , a 50mm prime lens, some cleaning stuff, some filters, extra batteries and memory cards plus 1. a standard and a telephoto zoom, speedlite flash and my S3IS (compact superzoom). or 2. Huge super telephoto zoom, telephoto zoom, flash and 50mm prime.

Very easily customised, I'm sure I could comfortably find a way to fit all sorts of things in there if I tried. I gave it 5 stars in spite of the fact that I can't take my laptop along in here. (That's only a -0.3 stars imho)

Great, well designed funtional product. Also have the larger one for when I need to carry much more gear... This one great if you are traveling and going on airplane due to its size. Again, well designed and built

The Tamrac 5375 is a great photography backpack with many options. I normally pack a Nikon D300, three Sigma lens (12 24mm,18 250mm OS, and 150 500mm OS lenses, a Nikon SB600 TTL, Nikon and AA/AAA battery chargers, spare Nikon, AA and AAA batteries, camera and speedlight manuals, a lens cleaner, a bulb dust blower and spare discs. The 5375 handles this well although it is a bit heavy. I have made plane, car and hiking trips with the 5375. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and backpacking is much easier than carrying it by the top handle especially when traversing the airport concourse pulling a roll-on bag. The padding seems adequate with many packing options and protects the contents from normal bumps and handling events. The bag appears to be waterproof with various drawstrings and hems that protect the zipper from leaking. There are two easy snap straps: One to hold the shoulder straps in the proper position; and one that wraps around the bag adding additional security to an accident zipper event (opening or forgetting to close). Thus far the bag appears to be rugged enough to withstand many trips.

Brilliant! The case is easy to use, in fact my mastered it no problem. It's easy to take photos and review them and also possible to delete photos but we tended to wait till out of the water.

We found that we needed a good underwater mask to be able to see the subject clearly and the video function on the camera is what truly won me over. Taking video of my children jumping into the water and then swimming past the camera gave us some of the best footage of our holiday.

One major downside is that the case FOGS UP VERY QUICKLY as the camera gets hot. I haven't discovered anyway to avoid this yet though I am still looking. This would have been extremely anoying if we were out on the reef, but by the pool we would just leave it and try again next swim.

I bought this from sears. my Nikon D80 with 16-85 lens just fits this holster very tight, but it works. I think D80+18-55 will definitely fit well. If you want more room, go bigger one.

Best Deals for Case Logic SLRC-1 SLR Camera Holster Case (Black/Grey)

I bought this bag as an on the go bag for my Nikon D5000--since simply hanging the camera around my neck all day made me WAY too nervous! The bag fits the camera and the 18-55 lens perfectly, and has room for me to carry an extra battery. I like that it has a hard bottom, so then you can sit the bag down without having to worry about the camera tipping (something you don't want happening with a DSLR!). It can be a bit awkward to get the strap in the bag as well, but I've found tucking the strap around the lens works well.

If you're looking for a bag to carry your camera and all of your lenses and and gear, than this is not it. But if you want something to carry your camera and your primary lens while on a trip or out and about, I think this is a great option.

Honest reviews on Case Logic SLRC-1 SLR Camera Holster Case (Black/Grey)

I agree with the previous reviewer that this is a perfect fit for the Panasonic Lumix FZ28 camera. I reverse the lens hood, place it over the camera lens and put the two together into the case with the left side of the camera down. I then put my filter case (three filters) on top of the camera in the main compartment. A spare battery with the charger fit into the separate front compartment. This gives me everything I need in a compact package. I don't have any additional memory cards but they could fit easily into either the main or front compartment.

The shoulder strap seems fine to me. The whole setup is so light you hardly know its on your shoulder.

I bought this for a Pentax K200D and it fits quite well; there is a little extra space around the camera but not enough that the camera moves around inside. With the camera inside, the case balances well on the hard "cap". There is a velcro-secured pocket under the zipper lid, and a small zipper pocket on the outside front. Both are large enough for a filter or two, or memory cards and an extra battery.

The included shoulder strap is of the el-cheapo variety, but functional nonetheless. The belt attachment is sewn-in and requires you to thread a belt through the case. I prefer the twin loop snap/velcro attachment of a similar LowePro case I saw in a local camera shop (which attached well to two rows of MOLLE webbing), but the LowePro seemed less sturdy and more expensive.

This case is well made and it will surely protect your new F10 digital camera, but it is much larger than it really needs to be. An F10 by itself is small and easy to carry around. Once inside this case, the camera becomes unwieldy and it is no longer much fun to take around with you. I regret buying this case. I suggest you look for a slimmer (and cheaper) one.

This is a very nice case. Rigid, and well made leather. Note: this case is NOT intended to completely seal your camera -no ziper. The design is more rigid and also allows you to unsnap a strap to fasten the case to your belt -very cool. The other strap snaps open the top where the F10 slides in and out. When attached to your belt, its really easy to quickly get the camera in and out for rapid access and the snap securely protects the camera. It works similar to a cell phone!

You will need to add the small camera cord that comes with the F10 to the camera -this makes it easy to pull it out of the case.

Very happy with this case.

This a very durable, attractive Case & the camera fits perfectly. The only thing I would change is the belt loop be stitched rather than the snap as the case catches on bus or airline seat arm rest and pulls loose.

Honest reviews on Fujifilm SC-FXF10 Soft Camera Carrying Case for F10 Digital Camera

I purchased an off brand to use with my FXF-10 when this case was on back order. It was terrrible, so I ordered this case and am thoroughly pleased. The camera fits perfectly into the case and, although it is described as a "soft case," it is durable and will protect your camera with style without adding additional bulk.

This is the camera bag I use when I am not traveling with my laptop. It easily accommodates my dSLR, two large lenses, and various accessories. It is light; even when fully loaded, it is comfortable to wear. The construction is durable. It has a slim profile and does not look like a camera bag (unless you have a tripod attached).

The only downside is that it is not easy to access gear on the go. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

My travel kit includes:

D300 body, with 17-55 f/2.8 lens attached, hood on backward

70-300mm VR lens, hood on backward

105 mm VR lens, hood on backward

lens cleaning kit

battery charger for D300

+/SB600 strobe

There are many convenient pockets for passport, phone, cards, filters, etc. The monopod/tripod attachment system is cool, but it makes the bag much bulkier

I am a documentary filmmaker who has taken this bag into the most difficult of travel conditions. It has been my saving grace in the jungles of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda and Haiti. The elastic water proof cover kept my gear dry and with the use of condensation pellets my lenses, camera and hard drives suffered no humidity damage. It is super comfortable and fits in the overhead compartments on smaller airplanes when having to do in-country flights.

Love love love this bag and this company. Think Tank makes very nice professional photography bags. This model carries our Canon 7d with two lenses, GoPro camera, and our Canon point and shoot. There is plenty of room for this gear with a little space for another, smaller lens. We have bigger, bulkier backpacks but this is our first choice always. It is so comfortable and compact that we enjoy taking it hiking and traveling. We've finally, after about 8 months, decided to add a travel tripod but realized we misplaced the straps needed to carry the tripod. We contacted Think Tank directly to purchase and they offered to send free of charge. Such good customer service is hard to come by now-a-days, especially with so many photography companies piecemealing every little item (that is in reference to GoPro!) My only drawback is I don't have much room for growth. As my lens collection grows I will need to get a bigger bag but I definitely will be getting another Think Tank bag.

Honest reviews on Think Tank- Street Walker

Really about 3.5 stars. Lots of nice things to say about this bag slim, light, deep, can fit lots of stuff in it.

To make it perfect (for me):

(1) This is the biggie to me it should have zipper covers (like Tamrac) so that the only time the weather cover is needed is when things get extreme. I hate having to pull the cover out every time it's drizzling or lightly snowing or I am in the mist of a waterfall.

(2) I would have liked a second tripod strap about 1/3 of the way down from the top on the cover instead of at the very top blocking access to the contents within without having to unhook it every time. Especially because I am using one of the new reverse folding tripods that fold amazingly small so it doesn't even reach the top.

(3) More dividers and some dividers with hook velcro so you can attach them to each other and create a truly custom layout. Also, velcro across the whole top, not just a little portion of it. Why? Because I don't like having my heavy camera and lens at the top, I prefer it at the bottom so the weight is on my hips and not pulling on my shoulders, but there is no way to reverse the main dividers since there is just a little patch of velcro at the top.

In conclusion, a really good bag, but could be even better!

It is a nice camera bag. I thought I would have to get a bigger bag for my D700 with battery grip and the 70-200mm vr ii, but after 30 minutes, I somehow manage to put them all in. Good bag for budget.

It is a very nice looking bag. Doesn't look like a camera bag, which is good. Strap is wide.

My main gripe is padding, it has very less foam padding. Unless you pack your camera inside the pouch, it has almost no protection. The pouch is little smallish compared to the main bag. So, if you want to use it as a small day pack, with your camera and a lens in pouch and some other essentials,it'll probably serve the purpose but using purely as a gear bag, well, better buy some other bag.

Another point is how the flap opens, it opens opposite way to most other camera bags. So, when you open it flap is on your body side and you need to hold the flap with one hand and use other hand to take out your gear. If you don't hold the flap it'll getting in your way. I'd prefer the flap open in the other way, like Kata bags.

In a nutshell, if you need a nice looking day pack with Nat Geo logo, go for it. If you need a camera gear bag, look elsewhere.

First, I bought this from Amazon Warehouse Deals, and it was listed as "Used-Like New". It was new. There were still tags on it. I guess the original packaging was damaged.

It is not too big a bag and does not look like a camera bag. It just looks like a day bag. My wife agrees it does not look like a "man purse" either. The build and quality of the materials seem to be good, however, I just got the bag and not really had a chance to take it on vacation or any serious activity. I have a Sony Nex 7, which the internal camera bag holds very well. I have room for it and the 50mm prime lens. Even with the smaller camera bag inside I can still put a water bottle in the main compartment. I also like that there is room for my iPad in the sleeve inside the main compartment. Overall, I am happy with the bag and look forward to using it this summer.

I bought this for a friend who really likes National Geographic stuff and he loves it. The quality and style are perfect. It's really useful for people who carry their cameras everywhere with themselves.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for National Geographic NG 2346 Earth Explorer Midi Messenger Bag

The bag itself is an OK size. In the big compartment I can put my Canon 6d, which is not a small camera, coupled with the kit lens (24-105mm f4 L), the Canon 430EX flash (does not fit if mounted on the camera), a 50mm 1.8 lens (quite small) and another extra medium-sized lens (either 70-300mm L or 100mm L macro).

The biggest problem I've encountered was with the inside pouch, which is on the smallish side. From the advertisement pictures, I figured I could easily fit my camera and either the flash or another lens. Was I wrong. Perhaps if you have a smaller camera, but my 6D barely fit there with the smaller lenses monted. With the 70-300mm lens mounted, it didn't even fit at all. To put all I can inside the bag, only the camera gets the extra protection from the pouch, the rest just rests loose inside the bag. And there's not much padding to protect the contents.

But, in all, it's a nice carry-around bag, much more practical than a backpack, although the carry-on capacity is a little limited.

This waterproof case worked great on the 6 dives that we did in Mexico. It was down a max depth of 80 feet over three days of diving.

The case allows full control of all the camera functions and settings. You can purchase weights from Canon that will bring the bouyancy to neutral. I did not have them and had no problems.

A few recommendations that were given to me that I thought I'd pass on:

Do a "test" dive with the case empty to make sure there are not any leakage issues.

Get some moisture munchers (dessicant packs) to avoid fogging at depth. Loading the camera in your air-conditioned hotel room (assuming you're not on a liveaboard) also helps keep out excess moisture.

Avoid opening and closing the case while on the dive boat.

Rinse with fresh water after every dive.

Unless you purchase a strobe light, it does help to be closer to subjects/objects (less than 5 feet) in order to get better color when you are deep.

I took this on my Mexico vacation and for the first day(2 dives)and it worked fantastic. The pictures turned out far better than I could have imagined. But, on the first dive the second day it started to leak at 45 feet and destroyed the camera. Fortunately most of the pics were rescued. I have no idea why it failed as I followed all the instructions to the letter. I sent my camera and case back to Canon and they said they would repair both at no cost. We'll see what happens.

Best Deals for Canon WP-DC60 Waterproof Case for A510 & A520 Digital Cameras

While I have only used the waterproof case in shallow water applications, I am thrilled with the results so far. I have no reason to think that it wouldn't perform equally as well during a deeper dive (50-100 ft). You can really get creative in and around the water knowing that your camera isn't going to get damaged. The Canon A520 is a great, all-around point and shoot camera. Combine it with the waterproof case and it will allow you to take your photography skills to a higher level. I'll admit that I'm strictly a novice photographer, but you might think otherwise after viewing some of my recent snaps. I am convinced that the waterproof housing allows you to maximize your digital photography experience.

Honest reviews on Canon WP-DC60 Waterproof Case for A510 & A520 Digital Cameras

We got this for our family vacation trip to Aruba, and we took it both snorkeling with us at the beach and just going to the pool at the resort. It was really easy to pop our digital camera in, close the case, and off you go to the water! We also bought the weights to attach to the bottom so it wouldn't float when we went scuba diving. Pictures came out great.

My only negative on this was it was hard to tell what you were taking a picture of. In shallow water under sunlight, the ambient light was too bright for me to see the screen to tell what I was taking a picture of, and I couldn't really use the view-finder with a mask on, so I just sort of aimed in the general direction and took a picture. And hey, it's a digital camera, so it's not like you're wasting film! Just take lots of pictures and then pick out a few of the good ones.

I bought this for a snorkeling vacation we took in Hawaii. I do most of my photography with an SLR, but for underwater the case and smaller camera worked well.

Depending on the light conditions underwater it can be difficult to see the viewfinder, but the pictures turned out well. Be careful not to open the case "on the beach" since it is easy to get grime in the seal.

I ususally buy 2-3 of these gems when purchasing a new camera discarding or gifting 2, but this was first time quality with soft leather and most imortantly, a strong stiched belt loop for that added security in a crowd speaking everything but English. This case is worn horizontally. Insert the camera in with the controls down, thus, allowing quick extraction with a slight tug on the camera's tether in a smooth motion. Case is correct dimension to lay the tether accross the camera when encased and the magnetic flap holds everything securely.

I bought this thinking that the hard shell would protect my camera better. Unfortunately, there is no "give" at all to the material it does not stretch even a little bit. First the zipper broke, then I was able to fix it. Then, since the camera is so tightly packed in it, the case presses on the "on" button, turns the camera on when the case is closed and the camera drains of power. I certainly would not recommend this product!

The tripod in the set is a piece of junk. I have only had it for two months and the head of the tripod just cracked off. Luckily i had my hands on the camera or it would have nose dived into the concrete I was standing on. Yeah tripods are expensive but spend 100 bucks for a solid tripod.
